Can you do tutorial on the mini bull design sith, I think thats what you called it. It is one of the large capacity high heat ones. I am very curious of what you used and how you made it.
I love breaking out my 4 season jet boil around my ultra light buddies and there hippy stoves! but these type stoves work great when your only cooking for yourself...
i love ur videos i have seen many. please tell me again the name of the stove with slider on the side to close off the ports....and where do i get one? ty vvm karen
Very informative and helpful, much like every other video I've seen by you this video was well done and well edited. I appreciate the wealth of knowledge and experience you have shared so far as well as the thought and time you've taken to both experiment with different methods, then report your findings to us. I look forward to your next update. Keep up the good work and thanks.
just a quick quick idea. you can bring an open burner stove and place it in your super cat so the super cat acts as the support. so you can boil your water quickly then once the water is at it's max you can then fill the open burner to cook. would that not work
With the catfood can style stoves...would you recommend just going with the higher fuel capacity ones so you can do either just water for dehydrated food AND longer burns if necessary? It just seems to make more sense to carry the stove that gives you more options.
Excellent presentation. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight. You have answered my burning questions regarding alcohol stoves with eloquence.
Believe it or not, that's one of the few stoves I haven't tried. I'm not qualified to comment but the design at a distance never really got me interested to try one out I guess.
Jason, thanks for the insightful overview! I had not seen a Brassllite and really like that option of simmer vs full force heat. I really appreciate the production of your ending wrap-up. Well done. Celebrate LIfe!...Laurie
Wow, I thought I knew all about alcohol stoves, I mean they are pretty simple afterall....but you sure opened my eyes !! I learned a lot here Jason, thanks for the effort.. 5 thumbs up !
Great, thanks! I'm glad you found it useful. Sometimes I don't know if I'm putting out content that is helpful to anyone so your comment was reassuring. I appreciate it.
i have bought a few and havent been very impressed with any of them. since then i have made several they vary greatly in boil time. i carry 2 one slow and one crazy fast
I carry an Atomic and a Choke Hazard, both Minibull Design stoves. I use the Atomic when I just need boiling water (instant potatoes or coffee) and the Choke Hazard when I need to simmer for a while (rice meals). They're both small, lightweight and miserly with fuel. It's a win-win package.
Excellent job. Thanks for the info.

Great info!
We carry our own design. We found it suits us best.

@MrBillTroop73
May I ask what the design is?
jasonklass 1 year ago
@jasonklass I'm pretty sure you've seen it. We call it the UniCan stove.
Even the poorest of kids can make our stove with just a can opener, scissors, a push pin, and a single soda can.

Great information. I think I have chosen the correct stove.
I boil water -not cook
I want to eat when I am hungry
I use the (I think you called it the "White Box" stove) it burns hot and I can boil 2 cups in ~5 min. I love that stove design.
Thanks again Jason for the series.

@convert2010
Yep, it's a great stove. Takes a while to prime, but a good, solid design.

Great idea for a video Jason and one that will help a lot of us. Good to see all this info together in one place.

it seems like tinny took your idea with the klasslite, with his squirrel cage stove.
boomer00000 1 year ago
@boomer00000
Nah, the whole "cage" concept was invented before I was even born. Tinny just refined it.

@jasonklass ya i guess a "New" idea doesnt exist anymore really.
