The media has made this much bigger than it has to be. 1000 plus people die form regular flu in the United States every year and you don't see them mentioning that do you. It's all about making some scary news to keep you planted on your chair watching your t.v. so they can get some high raidings so more companies buy air time on thier channels.

The govt paying 300K for a photo in this economy? The fact that planes are flying low over manhattan and the swine flu epidemic spreading makes me think someone is crop dusting the city with this disease.

Overcrowding and stress means immune compromised pigs thus one pig gets a virus-they ALL get it. ALL swine and bird flus have been traced to FARM FACTORIES. Farm factories are killing us, but you all buy their products of cruelty. And can get MRSA preparing it :-)
There are multiple scientific papers that has proven there is MRSA in pork and chicken. If you pick up the MRSA infected chicken or pork, you can catch it-it's extremely contageous. No wonder over 60% of the population has MRSA and is costing the American health care system billions of dollars a year to treat. MRSA kills more people than AIDS. Yeah I can see how safe your meat is. It is ALSO LEGAL that farm factory workers put a little ARSENIC in the chicken feed-makes the meat pinkish.
If your seeking better health care. Step up to the plate and turn yourself into a fema camp for the betterment of the rest of us please. We all agree you need better health care so please lock yourself out of reach of the rest of the community.
Why are they trying so hard in all the media to convince us its ok to eat pork ? Would it not be better to be safe than sorry ? If the excuse is its safe when its heated to a certain temp than you can still catch a virus when its raw during the cutting and cooking process. If flu virus can be caught from a human body fluids it is the same with an animal. Use comman sense the virus does not die with the animal.
