I'd like to someday see full demake hacks like this for Pokemon. I mean, it doesn't seem too hard other than getting the new Pokemon programmed to old games.

@zigazav Basically a show of capabilities of ROM hacking. When there's a 10th generation, even that could be "de-made" or downgraded to generation 1 or especially gen. 2 games.

@arceusmaster0480 That's not one of the mistakes I was looking for, but we were pretty much finished by the point that I noticed the coloration was shared between the front and back sprites, and I had used a light gray color for Oshawott's head instead of the yellow for its Scalchop.

@MuyAgeru Congrats! You found the first mistake. The assembly that Koolboyman put in for that only worked on the first page of the statistics, which I failed to notice until it was already on YouTube.
@cat333pokemon Sorry, my bad. As for the errors, I found them. Zorua knows Growl, when it should know Leer, and at lvl 9 it learned Bite instead of Fake Tears
If you don't understand, then you're probably not ready to Rom hack.
I'm in no position to tell you whether or not to try this, but if you want to save yourself some frustration, I suggest you don't try it. The hack is unfinished and will never be finished, you would have to complete every map by yourself which is a daunting task especially with Gen II which has very little tools and usually requires Hex Editing.
hey buddy, very good work there! congratulations! I want to do some pokehacking someday too ^^ hey, is it possible to include abilities and new attacks in this hack, such as wonder guard for shedinja or volt tackle for pikachu? maybe just changing double-edge's type or something like that?
@BetaTowerofyikkYt I think he made use of the actual DPCM channel, which plays sounds similarly to WAV files. It was used in Pokemon Yellow for Pikachu's cry.

@ToonLinkHeroOfTime Even though you posted this comment a couple weeks ago I can answer that, this is a hack that's supposed to be based from the original Pokemon Gold and Silver, Pokemon Abilities wasn't introduced until Ruby and Sapphire was released. So it would make sense Zorua's Illusion didn't work.
@ToonLinkHeroOfTime Why it's more of a tribute to the classic GameBoy Pokemon series, really would be no true point in adding any ability what so ever. If it was a tribute to the RSE games then yeah there would be some point in adding Illusion somehow. But I'm no help on that, the only thing I can hack is my broken DS lite with the Action Replay.
