regarding your 'one dimensional' thoughts on it i personally think thats brilliant - i heard one track from this guy on got to dance, shazam'd it right away and Rustie came up... i listened to the album thinking 'ah bet its only got one or two good tracks but still' and lo and behold its about the first album i've bought that actually sounds superb right the way through. I'm tired of buying albums where its clear the artist wanted to do other genres... save that for the next album!

Glass Swords is a truly superb album - Surph, Ultra Thizz and All Night are simply incredible - you cannot turn it up loud enough in the car i promise you! the influence of video games from 80's to 90's is clearly evident but mixed with all the synth and loud dubstep bits chopped up, reverb'd and flanging. Its the best 7quid spent this year!

I absolutely love it! I'm a fan of electronic music, but got over the genre-mathematics in the late nineties. I'm a music graduate, a music teacher and a jazz musician and I love this album because it is just BIG, LOUD, CHEESY and FUN!

I *love* the new CIVIL CIVIC album, but I really have not been able to get into this Rustie album. I don't want to dismiss it as a bad album because it seems like the tracks are well-constructed and there's good layering/mixing. But something about the textures throws me off. A lot of them sound like things I could find in a default production kit in some Easy DJ software program. it gives it a weak, cheap, Fischer-Price feel to me. I don't know if that's intentional feel or not, but I don't dig

This album has so much variety in experimental music that it melts my ears. I hadn't heard of Rustie until this video was posted and when I took the time to search and listen to this album and artists my mind soothed by the slow two-step and synths. I love how all the albums are unique with different instruments, melodies and beats. The only problem with the album is that there are no dubstep songs with wobbling sounds that'll follow the builds. Great album but could use more House/Dubstep.
