@rafflesman I just returned from a UK politics conference, and even they all agreed that we simply cannot allow Brussels to set all our laws for us. One main argument for not leaving is all the lost trade... it was unanimously accepted that nothing in that area would change for the worse.

@IRememberTheOldDays Yes lost trade is a red herring.Britain will simply makes new trade agreements with each EU country,as did Norway and Switzerland.Even the U.K. Foreign Office (who falsely never wish to upset anyone) could arrange this,because EU countries make more money from Britain than Britain does from them.And with the net contributions saved (e.g.the money that goes to the CAP) we could for example, build more hospitals, have better pensions and recruit more Armed Forces servicemen.

How come we never have ceremonies like this in America? I really think it's time we did. Our servicemen and women deserve our recognition and gratitude for all the sacrifices they make to keep us safe and preserve the freedom we cherish.

@belmarmom I agree, I'm from the UK so I don't know what you do in the US but we celebrate our 'Glorious Dead' in the most British fashion possible. We don't just do it well, we do it the best.
