Shit ending but it's not just these writers, nearly every good tv series have a shit ending. Lost, the ending was rubbish on that, sliders, shit ending, all the main cast had died after 3/4 seasons.

They could of made 2 endings or an alternative one to let you decide wich way it went, but they didn't even do that.

A happy ending would of left the fans wanting more were as this shit ending just makes me want to put the box set away an never watch it again... Fkn shit. After all that !

The final series deserved a more surprising. Michael's death was so pathetic.

Season 5: Heaven Break! Michael plans to break out of heaven and return to earth. John Abruzzi, now tight with the Lord, gets him the original plans to the pearly gates. But due to a mix-up, Sarah is destined for hell so Michael has to save her by posing as a demon and... what? This isn't any more convoluted than the last couple seasons! ;-)

It fills in plot points between Scofield's final nose bleed on the beach to the scene some months later at his grave stone w/ Linc, Sara, Michael Jr, Sucre and Mahone, which was how it ended. This did not air on the final episode (at least in the U.S.).
