Does anyone know where I can find a backing track for the G3 version of Summer Song? It's about 6:29 with a harmonics duel with the bass at the beginning. This is the version in Joe's Anthology tab book.
i actually prefer the backing with the quiet lead. with the quiet lead if you go wrong its easier to pick yourself back up again when your practising. but when your playing you cant hear it. whys there a fuss about it??? he just went into audacity and split the stereo track into 2 mono tracks inverted them and merged them together again. simples :)
The Digitech JamMan will delete (almost) all of the lead on this tune! Any serious jammers should check it out! Not spam, I just have one and love it! (really) Check it out at guitar center or elsewhere. It does'nt work as good on some tunes but it is still pretty cool!
@racingandmusicmylife Yes, you definetely can still hear if faintly, seems like all it does really is put the rythym guitar part at the forefront! but its a little distracting to try and pick zone out to .....just the rythym part!~
Amazing I love the track thanks for putting in the rhythm guitar in beginning it's the best backing track on YouTube yet

Lai... you should try to use uTorrent...
You'll have all the Satriani backin' tracks you want.
I would remember anyone that backing track are perfectly legal.
The song isn't complete so copyright isn't valid.
To play on a backin' track, covering an existing song it's illegal.

Thanks bro! what if you cover the song but make the backing track yourself ? is it allowed?

=)
Well, it's the same, as you already know, of just using a song without permission.
WMG, UMG, SIAE Etc. are used to consent musicians to cover songs.
But... well, it's happened that Steve Vai asked YT to remove some cover videos.
I think since musicians played the song better than Steve himself... =)
Do you want to try Summer Song?
This would be wonderful...
Yup! Please do it... Huh? Huh? Huh? XD
