  • not sacred, no. culianu was sacred, but this is why eliade got him close to himself. eliade was just an encyclopaedist scribe, and even if it hurts to say it, he was not an encyclopaedist by vocation but by will and discipline.

    a man with an iron will (not hinting at anything), he wanted to become what he eventually became. this is his very own accomplishment and nobody could take that from him.
