maybe he disabled cheats on the console, then wrote in: idclev 32.

@Farinelly You can do that if you have the Doom95 Launcher. It lets you choose skill and start level placement.

i prefer your version. but does anyone else think that the hellknight was useless? i mean they made him just to put a challenge in sooner, i mean int he ultimate doom their wasnt any real challenge until the last level on the first map with 2 barons of hell, i mean, the barons are cooler and sound better, but the hellknights are garbage.

I don't think you all realize these both videos are tool-assisted. Not saying this to take anything away from these videos, they are both too awesome. I think the ultraviolence time could be improved with a arch-vile boost after getting the blue key but that's about it. Maybe a bit more luck manipulation as well. :-)

Well yeah, save states, slowing the game down, using glitches etc.

Good Question

It's Because some other versions of doom are different to others, instead of beat the clock on under par it records the time and totals it Automatally after you finished the level, After the final level is completed it automatally totals up the finishing time.
