ok i owned an accord 99 v6 converted to 5spd i loved it fast car it had full greddy evo2 exhaust comp tech headers aem intake all good stuff used and the truth is the tc is faster even stock its faster the accotd v6(98-02) puts 161 to the wheels @3900+lbs the tc puts 147 to the wheels @2900lbs the tc will win in acceleration and def on the highway trust me i raced tc's in my accord and accords in my tc and bottom line tc is faster i like honda better so this is unbiased openion but tc wins vs v6
either way he got smoked which is sad. only two hondas kicked my ass. a prelude modified enough to thro fire out the exhaust and i hit my rev limiter and he was still pulling, and my bros civic with a jdm engine swap. other then that accords and hatchs can't touch me
What was the point in telling me it had back seats? An Accord is not a sports car, and neither is a tC. The tC is "sporty", a lot more sporty than a family sedan Accord. By the way, the tC cost between $16k-$18k. The Accord goes for $18,600-$33k. Put it this way, I don't forsee any Honda Accords at the drag strip running 12's anytime soon, nor do I see them running laps at the track.

In the end, the tC is having the last laugh in the Aftermarket. You don't see any one making Accords run low 10's or owning the Time Attack record for the Unlimited FF class at Willow Springs Raceway.
not trying to start anything but bc the accords use the same engine as it's other siblings (TL, TSX) you can use the turbo/supercharger kits from those and if anything lightly modify it to fit and also the accords have k-series engines which are one of the best engines ever made. 250whp is easily made just by putting a k24bottom with a k20a2 head. the tc was buiilt on a different purpose. to attract younger people. accord is jus like u said, a grocery getter.
