I got this game like a week ago, and I gotta say... it's pretty darn sweet, my only gripe with it is that there's no story mode like in Soul Calibur IV, but you can't really ask for more in a portable version, they did a great job with this port.

Ya I honestly dont think this game is great. It may have the nice 1on1 like all soul caliburs but the gaunlet has nothing to do with the story. Save your money

What still bothers me is that they promised 30 characters when we just got 28. In Soul Caliber IV we had 30 caracters 4 of those where the 3 Special Guests and the Bonus character slot. Here they said they would even everything out but we just got 28 we are still missing. Also in IV we only got one new character, unless they plan on making Algol part of the cast. Here we only get 1 new character and he was just disapointing I don't want Soul Calibur becoming a joke like its starting to become.

Actualy now that I have played the game he is acctualy a good addition to the game combat wise he doesn't suck like I thought he would he is pretty fun and original. Story wise it is about time they add a character that I dispise so welcome to the Soul world Dampierre.

At 1:44 that is the new Thesmophoros' Imperial Garden (sunset) stage theme song, the one in the day will stay the same song, but I wonder who will get The stage in the morning like in SC4 and who will get the evening (sunset) Sophitia or Cassandra, I think Sophitia will get the new one the sunset and Cassandra will keep their old one?
