  • @abbalin100 it's not kanji....

  • @abbalin100 in China, they are called characters. not Kanji. Kanji is what the japanese call chinese characters that they integrate into their language.

  • @KELLERMANisBACK Kanji = Han Characters, which is exactly what they call it in Chinese.

    anyone with me?

  • I used to listen to this song when I was a kid. My g-ma would always play it, but I could never remember the name. It wasn't until I heard Gummy sing it in MAMA that I found out the name. This is probably hands down my favorite chinese song. A song that will never get old.

  • 1983年-邓丽君小姐的两张专辑-‘淡淡幽情’与 ‘十五周年精选’ 是华人市场有史以来首两张以CompactDisc 摸式压制,可见当年邓小姐在歌坛的影响力!

  • I really love her golden voice , it's sooooo wonderful & nice !!!!

It's makes me feel so good!

  • @Sallyang77

Since the late 60s, I've been listening to Ms Teresa Teng's songs very regularly and now almost every day! From the days of LPs, EPs, cassettes, Compact Discs (by the way, Teresa's ' 淡淡幽情' and ' 十五周年精选' had the great honour of being the first Chinese titles in history ever to release in the then new Compact Disc format in 1983!). I am now listening to her songs on MP3 formats. I still owned many of her CDs, including Japanese releases.

  • Want to translate your favorite English songs to Chinese ? asiabymusic, com

They translate your favorite songs to japanese too.

  • we sang this at a old folks home yesterday and they were really happy! brings back great memories for them and happiness for us (-:

  • He he! Her voice makes me feel so good!!

  • @htlk1995

Oh yes, the vocal of Ms Teng is the most treasurable thing in world.

  • Respond to this video...

    这个时期邓丽君的歌声真好听,柔而似断非断, 不过1986年后,她的声线就开始走下坡了。话说会来,小邓在全盛时期,可是天皇巨星中的天皇巨星!

  • I'm pretty sure every single Chinese person in the world knows this song

  • @nananeneh o man ur right i knew this song for the longest time but i had no idea this vid was the song

  • 永远的天皇巨星!

  • Anyone who has heard Teresa and NOT loved her is too dumb to appreciate her awesomeness! First time I heard her, I was drawn to tears! She shows intense emotion without being whiny. I just wish I could have found her sooner. God Bless you, Teresa Teng. <333 Rest in Peace!

  • Heard this for long time ago and finally few days ago i found the title! Like it, love it, simple but sooo meaningful. Tickled my heart.

  • wow, this is the kind of music I grew up listening to because of my parents. This is far more musically superior and techinically advanced than the junk that passes as music for my generation... Long live oldies!!

  • great song

  • That's why I believe in heaven and angels by listening to this song over and over again...

  • My grandma used to sing this to me with her beautiful voice. She passed away many years ago and now that i have found this song... i can remember her voice again ;')

  • @MrHo16 is ur grandma teresa teng?

  • @MrHo16 :')

  • Actually, Fu Daifu, I speak, read and write Mandarin, in addition to being fluent in Italian, German, and Spanish. She has a very lovely voice, and the song is pleasant enough. I think there is room for stylistic considerations, however, and this strikes me as being a little sentimental. I'm sure that qualifies me for your parade of American idiots, but I look for superior musicianship in the music I patronize. This performance is rather ordinary to me, as is most non-traditional Chinese music

  • i love this song when i heard it in my primary school

  • It is very hard not to miss her and this song every full moon...

  • ahhh every chinese should know this song!

  • Teresa Teng created a masterpiece that embodies her essence ! Ethereal! Irresistible! Irreplaceable!

  • Her voice is beautiful! Very classic.

  • this is an ultimate classic Chinese song.

  • I am in my twenties and I love old school Chinese songs. I don't understand everything but I just love how classically beautiful and understated it is she is. Does anyone know what year this originally came out and where I can find other "old school" Chinese/Cantonese songs? Thanks!

  • @rosedew2 try wang ji ta by her as well.

  • Lovely!

a Beautiful melody, beautifully sung. This was recommended to me by a Cantonese lady I dance with. It sounds familiar-- it was either "lifted" from a Eorpean tune, or vice versa- -anyone know? Anyway, it still sounds marvellous.

    Staight into my "rumba" playlist!

  • Happy Mid-Autumn Festival (Harvest Moon Festival) on Sep 12, 2011 to all of you who celebrate it!
