@yajhli - I don't know if you listen to christian music but there are many types of christian music out there too. It doesn't have to be "For God so loved the world...." . One can express his or her feelings in the lyrics.
I'm pretty sure if their fans do care and love them, it wouldn't matter if they used God in their songs. It's kind of like those famous Rappers who rap about drugs here and there, their home boys being killed, violence, or about God... (one example, Eminem)

it's good to have different variety of tunes, but I still think they sounded too similar to "Laib Laus." Even their cords and guitar solos are in the same style as that of "Laib Laus." I guess the good aspect of thise band is they actually play their own music unlike many bands out there where they just recorded their songs over the computer.

I just discovered this band from one of my friends. They are awesome. However, they are a religious band. If not, I would actually go out to see them. As for their lyrics, I cannot relate to it so that is the only downside. However, if you're a Christian and you love metal, you'll probably find them more in your liking. That's why they callit "christian songs" It's not Christian songs if it has nothing to do with Jesus. Even you know it. They sang songs about Jesus Christ is because He came in our place to die for our sins. Because of our sins, there's death and a separation between God and Humans.
We are all sinners. So that's why they are thankful because of the Love of Jesus Christ, we can have a relationship with Him. They want to share this kind of love to other people too... so that they can share in their thankfulness towards Him. Why is it wrong for them to sing and fill their thoughts about Jesus. I'm sure there are a lot of things we all obsessed our minds with other things of this world. How can that not be wrong either?
look, I get how christians view things. all I'm saying is why even bother coming out with 10/11 ways of expressing their obssesions for their lord jesus christ? if it were me, I'd just make 1 song and copy it to make 10 tracks in the cd. It's no different then making 10 different songs..just using different expressions over an obsses thought. that's all.
