he doesn't earn the hard ball, i'll straight out admit i don't like him but can recognize his skills. He never does any hard contests though just hangs out the back and gets the ball given to him. All teams need those players so they shouldn't be bagged out constantly but he needs to just take on the contest and win a football in a pack

You got to admit though, his skills are very good and he is starting to earn the hard ball a bit more and he is starting to seem to get the feel for the game alot better. I can't wait for carlton next year with out developing backline, our ruckmen to reach fitness and strength levels, marc murphy to become the superstar and show his true colours and most of all the judd and his boys dealing it out to essendon.

We need a better a better quality video to be able to make a judgment on whether he was following the bounce of the ball or avoiding milne.
But I'll go with the soft approach, milne wasn't even running hard toward the ball, GIbbs could've taken him but he wimped out.
PS: Before I get all "you would do the same you don't even play" I've been knocked unconscious a few times in my local league but older bigger guys. That don't happen from avoiding contact.
