This hurt my ears and I found it kind of pointless. We just need to get over the whole worship wars junk and quit laughing at it too. I enjoy some of what the skit guys do, this was not one of them. I look at their video list and see serious issues facing the church being made into cliche jokes. I feel offended by this, I have seen so many skits and dramas like this in our churches. Maybe I am getting old or something but I can't like this sort of "ministry" anymore.

@ssstudents I appreciate your heart on this issue, but the reason this is a GREAT video is because it lightens this incredibly tense subject. Far too many people have decided to let style dictate how, or even IF, they worship God. If we could all simply realize that the worship through music we participate in can either be "music of praise" or "music of proclamation", we could get past this. It seems some of us Christians have forgotten the simple fact that it's not about us, it's about God.

I talked with somebody today who flat out disagrees. So I don't think it's a matter of us "forgetting" that it's all about God - I think it's an issue of whether or not it actually IS only about God. If it's not about us, we might as well be puppets.

My point is just that it's not either/or. It's about God AND us. Yeah, we worship him...but we worship TOGETHER, so it's also about being in community with other worshippers. Worship also allows us to connect with God, so it's about being in community with God. I'm not saying it's only about us; I'm just pointing out that it isn't only about God.

And we can definitely worship alone, one example of that is QT or prayer lol it's like this video says, there are many different ways for people to worship. I mean say some slave reads the bible daily in secret because his master would kill him otherwise, is that not worship?
