I'm not from Detroit, don't live in Detroit, never have been to Detroit, nor am a fan of the Tigers. But, in my opinion, any building, structure, or other thing listed on the National Register of Historic Places or State Register of Historic Places should be torn down regardless of what it is. This video right here shows that Detroit, or whomever ordered the demoliton, doesn't care about history. I'm just an history preservation activist from Atlanta giving my opinion.

this sucks. i mean all the plays that were made there. all the memories.. and we just chuck it..
today there is no joy in detroit. only shame.. and i am a tigers fan. to gretzkyotes....i feel for you too. this is where happy stuff happen. we did not have to worry for 3 hours about job or money. we just sat there and enjoyed. now somebody has even taken that away from us.... i am sad today

I'm an Indians fan but.......this is still sad to see. I was sad when Municipal Stadium had this done to it....it's where my memories were.
