  • Picked up my 944 turbo for 9 grand and didnt have to do a thing to it. Almost a year later and the only thing ive had to do was change the hydrolic clutch slave cylinder.

  • you can buy 944 pretty cheap, but thats because they prob require some expensive parts and servicing.

  • The 924 944 was porsche's mass produced model, Porsche only used to hand build the 911 varients. Porsche wouldnt be able to build enougth 944 for the purchuse price. So i would say audi made the 924 and 944, porsche 911's now arnt made by porsche for the same reason, modern 911s are mass produced.

  • shit dude giving out yer address on the internet

  • Why do people put crap musak intros on what might have been an interesting video?

  • Appreciate your video man! Nice, check out my Channel.

  • 670 euros and for an 88 that still ran? thats awesome!

  • 600 euros and for an 88 that still ran? thats awesome!

  • Classic for 600 quid?!?!?! Great machine.

  • What;s the name of the song at the intro...cool song!

  • Congratulations !

Best car of the world !

  • piece of junk lmao!

  • Great Vid, it's funny my Red F Reg 944 Turbo had one shiny wing, and the rest flat when i bought it too! I have used mine as an every day car for almost 2 years and it has just clicked over on 207,000 miles, these were one of the last hand-built Porsches before the accountants took over....

  • London to Londonderry. Good trip to expose any issues with the car. I am looking at these casually at the moment!

  • @johnnytenjobs even though the car hadn't moved for 2 years it got up and done this journey with no hastle, amazing! both of my '44s are pretty much done now and will be ready for sale soon =]

  • Always loved the 944 since High School. That and the Mustang 5.0. Two of my most favoriite cars next to the Vette. It's great that you drove it home without incident. Got a little jealous watching I admit.....Good luck from here in the States.

  • I liked the video,beauty history buy a car asi to restore,who enjoy.i wanted a 928.944,boxter i love.greetings from Spain.

  • awesome video! I am saving the money for a car like this! Thanks for uploading!

  • wow dude porsche 944's are not even made by porsche

they were made by voltswagen, and they suck

  • @chinada89 haha they were (not are) made by porsche, the 924 was the joint project between vw and porsche

  • @conorb147 they are so not made by voltswagen and 944 are nice...... and btw porsche owns voltswagen

  • @conorb147 Actually, that one was made by Porsche, with Audi's mechanics... The one that was a VW-Porsche is the 914... ;-)

  • no the 944 was replaced mostly by Porsche parts. the 924 had volkswagen parts but was made by porsche. and porsche invented vw so....

  • @chinada89 porsche vw and audi are the same company so why does it matter

  • @chinada89 fuck.. you're dumb!

  • @chinada89

u guys really suck, open ur freakin mouth without having any idea what you talkin about.

the 944 is a great sportscar, 100% porsche

  • @chinada89 Thats a 924 dumb ass!

  • @chinada89 Well If volkswagen and porsche suck so much together then you're gonna hate everything that comes out in the future. Seeing as they are joined together once again.

  • @chinada89 ya dude they're made by Porsche, i think you're thinking of the 924... use google or something before posting comments...

  • @chinada89 learn to spell vol*K*swag*O*n and it was the 914 and 924 made by vw

  • @chinada89 wow dude actually they were made by audi

  • @chinada89 i may guess you drive toyota?

  • Shit! £600 for an F-plate 944 running like this. As TheWhupper said, that's certainly a lot of car for the cash. My brother bought an A-reg 924 with 124k on the clock that looked a lot more tired than this; massive crack on the windscreen and all sorts to fix. It's been a bit of a nightmare really. So much so that he gave it to me (fobbed it off on me lol)

Well done on a great buy, hope it works out as well as it started.

  • thanks, all is going great with it, i plan to finish in the summer. my white 944 could do with a new windscreen too, it should be similar to the screen from a vw or audi so i wouldnt worry about availability hopefully

  • @conorb147 Nice :) New screen was one of the first things we did for about £100-£125 from a local auto glass-fitter which wasn't bad for new... had lots of fun with the timing and fuel systems though... Not much of a mechanic, so is quite the learning curve for me, but it's great watching it come together bit by bit...

  • Your dedication to get the 944 made me subscribe! Enjoy the car! Treat it well and it will treat you well. I love mine and I know you do, being your 2nd. Thanks for the vid.

  • Amazing, for £600, even the lights and wipers worked. That's a lot of car for the money. Hopefully the paint will come back with a bit of TLC. I would change the cambelt pronto though, unless you have evidence it's been done recently.

  • yeah i do love it, dnt worry cam belt is already done, thefron end needs painting this week, apart from that, its almost done :) new vid up when it is

  • Great mate, i'm also going to buy a 944!

  • Neat video m8, a really good idea, it looks like the car ran fine for the trip which is always a bonus, looking forward to the restoration vid. Well Done

  • thanks dude, it did, the car hadnt properly ran for 2 years but it still got up and done a massive journey with absolutley no problems, porsche power!

  • im getting a Porsche Boxster

  • @9Brando9 why? dont waste the money and get a 951. Its truely a great car

  • @Cory00yeah do they even make them any more. all the ones i looked at are like 70's
