There must be, but I am not aware off anyone who runs gear that way in any real operating capacity .. typically guys what mags to be a lot closer than on their legs

5.11 makes a pouch like the eagle pouch. im not sure if the pmags will fit in it though. but i love the 5.11 and i really love the price.

yes, they would fit, but I haven't run around with them in there yet, so I'm not sure how bad the sharp edges might cut up the elastic, and how well they would stay in place when loaded .. we'll give it a try though and see what happens

Anyone have any recomendations for a good vest to holding at least 6 mags and maybe some other good features (like camel back holder or something) Would like it to be durable too not some cool looking thing that lasts 2 weeks and falls apart from heavy use.

I am sold on chest rigs over vests

of course it can be over 100 for months at a time here in AZ

But I like the ability to wear the chest rig over almost any clothing or gear

6 mags in no problem, look for an all MOLLE style (then buy the 6 mag shingles you want)

Or look for gear with at least 3 double mag pouches (thats how my chest rig is set up)

SKD Tactical has some great Eagle chest rigs. But you're probably going to hump a camelbak though, unless you modify it.
