This was and is still one of my all time favorite Donald Duck cartoon. I think Old Mother Mallard's voice is quite comical and can remember walking around the house mocking her when I was a child. I also thought that she was a very skilled cook and organist as well. =)

And that's why Donald Duck is awesome, and why these cartoons should be preserved and shown to kids today along side new ones. The only exposure they seem to get of the origins of Disney is something called "BLAM!," the most awful and unfunny thing Disney Channel has churned out yet. It takes classic Disney cartoons- such as this one- and attempts to make them look like an episode of Jackass with an idiotic surfer guy voice over. I don't know about you, but I like this version a lot better.
