When the Duralibity of the enemy is finished you automatically win? Does that work in the second game?

Yup! In this game it rewards you with the enemy's weapon design. In the sequel the reward is the material used to create the enemy's weapon. It's not as important in that one since you can get all those materials by fishing or killing repeatable bosses.

Yup. Spear is pretty much easy mode in this game.
