@chris40539 Mary is very good! I've seen Tristania 2 weeks ago and she can reach really high notes!! I'm a soprano and I can assure you that she's very good with high notes!!
@InaUltimate You can LIKE Mary more than Vibeke and its nothing wrong in it, but she definitely not better ;). It doesn't mean, she's bad. Yet Vibeke is really outstanding singer - I realise that even if I'm not huge fan of her.
I think, that this album is not as good as the old albums were.. but I dont know what I was expecting now when almost the whole band is composed of absolutely different musicians (I think that there are only two of them of the original formation) BUT I love this song... It seems to me that it is a LOT different from the whole album...To conclude: This CD is something new, not for me but a few songs are unique there ... so find those which are for you the best.. this one is for me...
This wonderful violinist,Pete Johansen,whom they extremely cleverly decided to have in the new album,isn't doing as long parts as he used to do!That's a shame!
The two things that I found unique in Tristania are gone, Vibeke's voice and the gothic touch that I've percieved only with this band and the Sins of thy beloved. The music is nice, I would like to have instrumental versions of these new songs.

I Believe that Mary's voice is way better than Vibeke's.
I really prefer her from Vibeke.
Eitherway, it's not fair to underestimate her job.
She is good, and she'll become even better...
