  • My heart breaks a little every time I think about how we will lose this talented man to such a horrible disease. His generation of musicians will never be duplicated.

  • @pamcfall58 Amen to that.

  • true innocence of the man is hidden in all emotions that are safe from the world of informations and kept in memory for so long that that memory becomes new life itself; a life of compassion, understanding and humanity. Thanks to the people who try to create some affirmation of life from their talent

  • Re: Glen's health No matter Glen, you'll soon receive your glorified body as will all true believers after The Rapture. Isa. 17 is coming soon as is 1Thess4:15-17.

  • Holds true for him now more than ever... *sniffle*

  • I just got this CD.Wow!We have been witness to one of the greatest talents to cross our musical paths for years!

  • What is it about old country singers and singing songs about redemption? just look at Johnny Cash's version of Hurt. This is an awesome video.

  • What a lovely video...this song has been a true favorite of mine a lot of years, and I love to hear Jackson sing it...but to hear Glen singing it here, at this point in his life, in that amazing voice of his...wow. Those weathered hands on the guitar and that face full of life's lines and lessons singing about reflections on a life lived, past regrets, and things left undone...powerful, poignant stuff.

  • My hero is fading. How sad

  • SONG!

  • Glen- U r great. Love from Iraq :)

  • Johnny Cash-Hurt

    Glen Campbell-These Days

  • really, really great

  • Brilliant recording by a brilliant artist. Anyone know when the recording was made?

  • @rbweinbaum1 1998 its on the ...meet glen campbell album

  • the man can sing still. what really amazes me is that JACKSON BROWNE wrote this at age 17 .cant see how his life seemed so long and sad at 17

  • My favorite version of this song. Relevant lyrics for someone at his stage of life, his thoughtful look at 0:32, and his altering the lyrics slightly for a more positive narrative are just wonderful. I can listen to this over and over.

  • barber-

i have loved this song from jackson browne for 30+ years. i was always amazed at his youthful soul that understood these things. when i heard glen campbell do this, i was changed forever - the whole juxtaposition of youthful despair and the aging reality of strength and endurance. the snake eats its own tail on this one.

the variant reality of youth's fearful pain and the survival of those who live through it.

  • he didn't write it, i think jackson browne did.

but no-one has ever sung it better.

  • Outstanding! What a gem.....brilliant songwriting

  • The best song i've heard in my life!!!! And of course ,still the best guitar man EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • just amazing

  • Clear diction -rich tones -still a-head of the game
