Nice video thanks for taking the time to produce this. Gotta say the grips on mine look much different, not better but different. Have fired about 300 rounds through mine, no malfunctions except with the steel cased BS rounds.
I don't own this guun, my local pawn shop has the nickel finish, for 450, I'm thinking of taking my Smith and Wesson, 469 for this gun. I like it, 13 rounds of 380. I have never seen a double stack 380. I like it.
think about this: if you got shot with a 380 in the chest or head, would you be having a chance to get a shot off? No! If you cant shoot your gun accuratley then you shouldn't have it. You don't need to have higher caliber guns to defend yourself
I own a BDA380 for over 25 years and find it to be a great carry weapon. However if the mag was to be released with a round in the chamber it can not be fired. So by removing the spring behind the grips will allow you to fire the weapon without the mag in place. You maybe able to see it in my duracoat BDA 380 pt1
the 380 can be just as effective as a 9 mm, just think about it for a second, if you get shot with any gun, i bet you will think twice about robbing me! lol if you want to argue you can try and jack my car and ill shoot you in the ass with a pellet gun, lets see what you think lol point is you do not need a 9mm or 45ACP in order to have a effective weapon, a 380 will do just fine
weell.. 3 weeks ago a mexican citizen defend his home from 3 robbers who had entered to his shop . Thia citizen wounded and kill at 3 whit his .380 semi auto hand gun ... the robbers had 9 mm handguns ..etc etc in results .380 is a deadly ammounition i hope some one get my point
probably the reason there aren't too many videos on the bda browning is that , it is the most expensive 380acp outhere or at least one of the most expensive. however it is a gotgeous piece.
The only draw back warning I could send out to to all interested and for those that own one of these fine pieces, is that the Browning logo medallions can and do have the potential of coming off during firing. They are just glued on. Mine did come off, however, Browning was more than eager to send me new ones free of charge.
Do you know where to get new parts, grips, barrels, slides? Anything for this gun is hard to find. It was given to me by my grandfather who had carried if for as long as I can remember, so you can imagine the abuse that was put to it. Any information will help, Thanks.
@TheAlexwest1 These pistol were made by Berrreta for Browning so some of the parts of the Model 84 are compatible. Try gun shows or a good dealer should be able to help you out..

wich is stronger the 380 or a 9mm?..i know both bullets are kinda small
lyfe1zruff 1 year ago
@lyfe1zruff the 9mm. The 9mm is faster and shoots heavier bullets.

This gun is accepted as standard-issue sidearm by FDF. I wonder why it is only army that uses this gun, the BDA is great.

@OnlyLifeMatters You are talking about the full-size 9mm version right?
