and to help deal damage because of their splash damage as protoss armies 90% of the time are clumped up in balls

It's simply the most strategic place to put it. The banner wouldn't work out anywhere else. Lower left is the minimap, upper left is production/resources/units/... tab, upper right is the resources and food count. So the replay timer is the one thing that contributes way less to the game because you can check up on how far in you are in the game by checking the clock above the minimap.

Its almost funny how the dumb player who only have IQ to make pure stalkers an 1 sentry, is rewarded more in combat, than the skilled player who actully makes Zealots, stalkers, sentry and Immortal.

Nerf stalker already, massing one unit like an idiot should not be rewarded.

Hero just build some cannons in the main base and thats simple solution...He can go for blink into your main base but he would finish with heavy losses..You can comfortably put your army into the second base cause cannons can save your main...
