@substantialHack In the UK you can skydive from 16- but it would take you at least 2 years (and thousands of pounds/ dollars) to qualify to be allowed to do this, you need to be very highly skilled, it's not half as easy as they make it look

@avrupafatihicimbom it's not a matter of getting a chance to do it one day. you need to commit alot more to it. ie skydiving training and hundreds of skydive jumps before you're even allowed a wingsuit, then strict tuition in that, and a couple hundred more jumps before you finally reach a standard where you can do whatever you want on your own. i'm just pissed off that it absorbs so much cash.

Or perhaps quickly glide upwards at a steep angle? Asside from all the experience and skill these athletes obviously require the first thing I would think that they need is the ability to trust themselves.
