I have the RD128's front and rear on a 96 Discovery, kept breaking other makes of diff as I am running 37" tyres. These are fantastic, on road, off road and ultra relieable; I know they are not cheap but as they say and I have learned "buy cheap, buy twice" and for me these were worth every penny. In the past I have run Detroits (failed) Kam (Failed) and RD56's (kept chewing up seals). Now everyone I know just goes for the ARB's and saves money in the long run. The best 4x4 mod by far!!
I got a rear diff locker.... it's called the hand brake. Works everytime. + It's a standard... so in 120,000 miles I think i've maybe replaced the rear drum shoes 1x.... lol.
@Fuscoooo Reduces the overall height, I guess at the expense of losing some rearwards radiation. ARB bumpers have the hole already drilled in them IIRC.
Pretty much the most reliable selectable locker.

I wish I had the money to have one installed in my truck. The electronic Limited Slip system isn't all that great.

@Fuscoooo probably because of the variety of bed configurations. it's an easy place to mount to and has a good ground plane
