Impossible. There is no way on God's earth to know the Transgender disposition free of aesthetic and social expectations. One aspect of the whole thing is that I believe that there should be efforts to identify transgendered as early as possible, far before puberty where changes happen. A M-F identified in early childhood could have testosterone blocked to stop masculinization effects from altering their body in unwanted ways.

I think it would help if you explained that what a transgender person feels is their real gender is determined by gendered brain characteristics that have now been scientifically demonstrated. Sometimes "genital gender" happens not to coincide with "brain gender" and therefore needs to be corrected because we don't know how to change brain gender and if nothing is done they are miserable.
All of the confusion arises from Christianity. The Bible says that a woman should wear that which pertains to a man and that man should not wear what pertains to a woman. Confused if you identify as trans or not but it doesn't matter. Most all of the trans people I know are totally normal because they are normal. Some try to put on stereotypical gender roles which seem really convulted (probably a product of insecurity which is understandable) but seeing as they look normal and behave normal, I think it's fair enough to say they are normal as anyone, but what is normal, anyways?

GID diagnosis should be replaced/restricted to body/hormone-disphoric transsexuality to avoid unnecessarily stigmatizing people who transgress gender norms and refocus treatment exclusively on people who require medical intervention for transsexuality. However, even if this change occurred, your opinion would still be in error unless definition of transgender also changed to match - unlikely.
Your discomfort with being labelled transgender probably comes from the fact that it is in fact a euphemism for a mental disorder that encompasses both transsexuality as well as whatever you are experiencing. It discredits your positions when you speak from ignorance on something that affects you personally. Re: transfolk - obviously being fortunately born cis/natal my gender, there's no way I can truly 'get' what it is like, or means, to be trans. So, yes, it confuses me a little, in the same way numerous experiences beyond my reach do. And for that reason, judging transfolk seems illogical, if not worryingly unaware/arrogant. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on trans issues in an LGBT context :D
For those watching this, I have responded with a more scientific reasoning behind transitioning. While social expectations play a role, it is not what really causes us to go through transition. I regret that I never hot to see the original video, so no way to respond after seeing both videos. :(

I have a trans friend. I made a couple mistakes when we first met and they came out me, but I have never thought of him as a woman (as he was born). Its still strange to look at him and be like, "oh yeah, he doesn't have a dick." He looks and acts like a man because he IS a man. "Be yourself" applies to everyone.
Damn, I wish you would make a reply to dirtywhiteboi67 on youtube. She was the biggest reason I stayed in the closet as long as I did, as a transman youth. She's a butch lesbian who's worried that the "Trans fad" is going to turn "little butch girls" into transmen, not knowing there is a difference between transmen and butch lesbians, and that the two are not interchangeable depending on the temperature of society. She posts pictures of transman surgeries and writes degrading things on them.
As a MtF transgender, I agree with what ZJ is saying in this video. All too often do I encounter people who just are completely ignorant of what being trans really means. Luckily some are very curious and just want to know more (mainly women), but some of them just completely laugh it up and couldn't care any less if I were to get assaulted right in front of them (mainly men). Even worse sometimes is family. Then the bigotry really goes into full gear; they have somebody "different" in the nest.
I think the only point that SkidRowRadio made (and he didn't even properly make it) is that a lot of us men can feel like as if we wouldn't mind being women, having vaginas and breasts and curvy figures and softer skin. But in reality I think this is just an internalisation of our attraction to women (I play women avatars in games, but I'm perfectly happy with my body/genitals/gender role). So this was his argument why trans people should have no problem staying in their original sex.

Christianity kills people when it has power; historical fact, many times over. Back during say the Islamic Golden Age, Muslim civilization was vastly superior to Christian civilization. Muslims were the first to pioneer many medical and scientific advancements, for instance. They have indeed fallen far these days, but that does not mean they were the Christians' lessers in the past. Christianity has a long history of being an oppressor to science, one that continues to this day.
Christianity has been a Jew-hating religion since the writers of the New Testament, you know, kind of painted the Jews as killing its false Savior. To say Christianity had nothing to do with the Nazis is like attempting to rewrite reality; Hitler undoubtedly used it for his own ends, irregardless of his personal feelings on the matter. It would be correct to say that he was two-faced on the matter from all indications, but he still realized that Christianity makes for good followers.
As a side note, I am not at all pardoning Muslim atrocities and such. If we are talking atrocities and blood on any religion's hands though, Christianity is firmly unchallenged in its first place position. I see no reason that Christianity should be above taking responsibility for a great many years of killing and viciously torturing people. Nothing murders people as efficiently as Christianity when it has any power, and that's a fact.

200,000? That's closer to the amount of people that died just in the Bible. I think you are vastly underestimating the number there. The Catholics were packing Jews into ghettos with special symbols while Martin Luther wrote 'On the Jews and Their Lies' before Hitler even existed to use Christianity for his own ends (whether he was 'Christian or not' does not matter). That's 11 to 17 million right there. As many as another 20 million may have died in the Thirty Years' War alone.
I don't get it, and I suspect I never will get it. There's no lack of consistency. Sex is male and female, gender is the fabricated sociocultural learnings of masculine and feminine. Thus, a female transsexual with a feminine gender is NOT transgender. That archaic thinking is continued by the transgender community to this day, much like operating on intersex children is.

Transsexuality is a naturally variant brain issue that results in one being cross-sexual in identity, with every intent of becoming male or female. Pseudo-transsexuals basically run the transgender community verbatim, and they throw around a lot of gender nonsense that has little to do with any actual transsexual. There's a rather staggering difference between somebody who quietly transitions with discretion and continues their life as somebody else, and somebody who throws it in your face and wants the right to be wherever they want and do whatever they please under the non-discrimination laws they always want to pass.
As to those who are cross-sexual in identity but decide not to do hormones or surgery, that's a personal choice. Each person is an individual, but the transsexual majority will almost always transition due to the nature of it. I expect those who are in the female role to observe human decency and common sense in return for my lack of interest in being their genital police. If they are not considered female by others, then they shouldn't be in public private places for women.

I think it would help if you explained that what a transgender person feels is their real gender is determined by gendered brain characteristics that have now been scientifically demonstrated. Sometimes "genital gender" happens not to coincide with "brain gender" and therefore needs to be corrected because we don't know how to change brain gender and if nothing is done they are miserable.

Confused if you identify as trans or not but it doesn't matter. Most all of the trans people I know are totally normal because they are normal. Some try to put on stereotypical gender roles which seem really convulted (probably a product of insecurity which is understandable) but seeing as they look normal and behave normal, I think it's fair enough to say they are normal as anyone, but what is normal, anyways?

GID diagnosis should be replaced/restricted to body/hormone-disphoric transsexuality to avoid unnecessarily stigmatizing people who transgress gender norms and refocus treatment exclusively on people who require medical intervention for transsexuality. However, even if this change occurred, your opinion would still be in error unless definition of transgender also changed to match - unlikely.

Your discomfort with being labelled transgender probably comes from the fact that it is in fact a euphemism for a mental disorder that encompasses both transsexuality as well as whatever you are experiencing. It discredits your positions when you speak from ignorance on something that affects you personally. Re: transfolk - obviously being fortunately born cis/natal my gender, there's no way I can truly 'get' what it is like, or means, to be trans. So, yes, it confuses me a little, in the same way numerous experiences beyond my reach do. And for that reason, judging transfolk seems illogical, if not worryingly unaware/arrogant. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on trans issues in an LGBT context :D

For those watching this, I have responded with a more scientific reasoning behind transitioning. While social expectations play a role, it is not what really causes us to go through transition. I regret that I never hot to see the original video, so no way to respond after seeing both videos. :(

I have a trans friend. I made a couple mistakes when we first met and they came out me, but I have never thought of him as a woman (as he was born). Its still strange to look at him and be like, "oh yeah, he doesn't have a dick." He looks and acts like a man because he IS a man. "Be yourself" applies to everyone.

As a MtF transgender, I agree with what ZJ is saying in this video. All too often do I encounter people who just are completely ignorant of what being trans really means. Luckily some are very curious and just want to know more (mainly women), but some of them just completely laugh it up and couldn't care any less if I were to get assaulted right in front of them (mainly men). Even worse sometimes is family. Then the bigotry really goes into full gear; they have somebody "different" in the nest.

I think the only point that SkidRowRadio made (and he didn't even properly make it) is that a lot of us men can feel like as if we wouldn't mind being women, having vaginas and breasts and curvy figures and softer skin. But in reality I think this is just an internalisation of our attraction to women (I play women avatars in games, but I'm perfectly happy with my body/genitals/gender role). So this was his argument why trans people should have no problem staying in their original sex.

Christianity kills people when it has power; historical fact, many times over. Back during say the Islamic Golden Age, Muslim civilization was vastly superior to Christian civilization. Muslims were the first to pioneer many medical and scientific advancements, for instance. They have indeed fallen far these days, but that does not mean they were the Christians' lessers in the past. Christianity has a long history of being an oppressor to science, one that continues to this day.

The fact remains that he cloaked his anti-Semitic actions in good 'ol Christianity like the Catholic church and Martin Luther had long before he came around. He did indeed kill Christian opposition, as well -- not because they were Christian, but because they opposed him. Seems you need a history refresher course. Ask an Orthodox Jew about the history of Christian love and mercy.

200,000? That's closer to the amount of people that died just in the Bible. I think you are vastly underestimating the number there. The Catholics were packing Jews into ghettos with special symbols while Martin Luther wrote 'On the Jews and Their Lies' before Hitler even existed to use Christianity for his own ends (whether he was 'Christian or not' does not matter). That's 11 to 17 million right there. As many as another 20 million may have died in the Thirty Years' War alone.

I don't get it, and I suspect I never will get it. Probably has more to do with my own eccentricities more than anything else (I just don't see myself caring about gender, I'd take a gender swap as 'payment' to cure me of one of my medical conditions. The fact that the transgender community continually echoes the same rampant misinformation about transsexuality does not help the matter, either. Thus, a female transsexual with a feminine gender is NOT transgender. Transsexuality is a naturally variant brain issue that results in one being cross-sexual in identity, with every intent of becoming male or female. Transgender was a term originally coined by Virginia Prince to refer to those who are cross-gendered; that is, males who are feminine and vice-versa. He actually disliked transsexuals, and is likely turning in his grave at seeing them at the helm of this 'transgender' community. They have been doing a lot of lying about transsexuals.

Pseudo-transsexuals basically run the transgender community verbatim, and they throw around a lot of gender nonsense that has little to do with any actual transsexual. As to those who are cross-sexual in identity but decide not to do hormones or surgery, that's a personal choice. Each person is an individual, but the transsexual majority will almost always transition due to the nature of it. I expect those who are in the female role to observe human decency and common sense in return for my lack of interest in being their genital police. If they are not considered female by others, then they shouldn't be in public private places for women.

@mushanekoproductions folks shouldn't be proud of being homosexual, lesbian, or transgender. All these things are bad for society and not only that, being proud of these abominable practices is straight up rebellion against the Creator of everything: GOD.
You guys should be doing the opposite: repenting. You all should be ashamed and feel remorse and cry out to GOD.
Repent and believe the gospel! You must be born again to enter the Kingdom of GOD.
God will not be mocked!

Your god's a joke; Nietzsche figuratively killed him over a hundred years ago. Yet grown adults like you continue to act like superstitious children due to an institution of organized slavery that was fabricated as it coasted along. As for Jesus himself, I'd rather not believe in a two-bit, sinful false Savior by Old Testament standards, who resulted in the persecution of untold Jews over deicide. The way that the Bible (and Jesus himself in it) treat women is deplorable.

@mushanekoproductions don't get me wrong, you all not the only sinners--everyone is a sinner. We've all rebelled against GOD, we need his mercy found in only one name: Jesus Christ.
So repent, for we are all sinners. We are wretched and vile and need a Savior. Praise God he loved us still, even when we rebelled. No man can love another more than by giving his own life for him/she, Jesus has done that. The ultimate act of love, and he has taken our punishment on the cross. repentandbelieve

Christianity's 'mercy' has been over 1,500 years of slow and agonizing physical and psychological torture, innumerable people it has killed, incarceration, brutality, and persecution of those who are different (as well as those of the Jewish faith). Christianity has exemplified all of its own 'deadly sins'; there isn't a sin in existence that hasn't had your religion's stamp of approval on it, and blood is all over its hands. So I'll take my chances not believing, thanks.
