I think it's a challenge for manufacturers/engineers to design a safe flat-nosed (rear- or mid-engine). Has anyone tried honeycomb structure and carbon fiber materials? Are the MB Vito and VW Transporter front-engine vans already?

@gilbs72 Yes, those vans are front engined.
I would think some honeycomb structure would work great for these sort of vans.

he doesn't say "i wouldn't ride in a 3 star vehicle unless i had to". This is so weak. Nothing wrong with a 3 star safety rating.
