  • The uploader is either stupid, or just ignorant of animal names.

  • Another moron. It is very dangerous to place a bird and a cat or kitten in the same environment together. They are natural born enemies and the cat's saliva is dangerous and can to lethel to a bird. This is foolish and will be disasterous. It's simply a matter of time. Do the right thing and adopt of of them out before it's too late because you can't fight nature.

  • Yeah.. COCKTAIL PARROT.. Coooool..

Wow.. New species huh.. Where'd u get that...!!

  • Cock-tail :)

  • do u make funny cats? if you do, then do you want to put: invisible sword?

  • jebany sierściuch

  • cockateils aren't parrots

  • Awww, Thats sooo Cuute.

Il Own 1 of these birdss.

    I Loooooovveeeee Kittens! x

  • ignore these haters. Its a cute video

  • Just a scratch from that kitten has enough bacteria to kill that cockatiel. If you love your bird don't gamble with it to impress people on YouTube.

  • @gynocide Its a cute video of the cat and bird playing calm down

  • @xXNightElfHunterXx You've unfortunately mistaken me for somebody who gives a fuck about what you think is "cute".

  • kitten: i wanna hit u i wanna. hit him hit him. no. yes no yes! nice vid!

  • I just drank 5 parrot cocktails! Mmmm tasty!

  • Kitten: High Five!? no?...oh.. ok..

  • у брата такой же попугай ангел завут,а котик красивый.

  • the kitten is acting like a jerk

  • Flagged for animal abuse

  • YOU'RE AN IDIOT HOW CAN YOU LET YOUR CAT PLAY WITH YOUR BIRD LIKE THAT! DIDN'T YOU READ ANYTHING ABOUT PARROTS BEFORE BRINGING IT HOME??? A cat can kill a parrot VERY quickly because there's a bacteria in its saliva!

  • @GiulioGiorcelli you too calm down

  • Parrot+cat= Carrot?

  • A cat can kill a parrot VERY quickly because there's a bacteria in its saliva! All it takes is one scratch or small bite. Your bird can be dead or very, very ill in a matter of hours. PLEASE, people, if you get a bird DO YOUR RESEARCH before you bring it home so you know what can harm or kill it!!!

  • A cat doesn't have to maul the bird to harm it...one little accidental scratch or a bit of spit on it's feathers (and feathers cleaned by bird) can make it fatally ill...I don't get how people can trust their cats with their birds :S

  • Omg you have the cutest kitten!

  • @jordanafrank Cocatiel can kick a full grown cat's ass.

  • Good job thanks, It's so cute

  • Cockatiel not Cocktail.

  • You fucktard. I'd get that cockatiel out of there.

  • que belleza de animales..

  • the cat seems a little drunken ö.ö

  • @caitch3198 i was going to say that

  • beautiful cat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pencilpush is right, there is a certain bacteria or something in a cats saliva and pads of feet that can easily kill a cockatiel. Don't do this again but it's still a very cute video

  • U STOLE MY COCOOTOO PEPPER! wait does it have a black or yellow mohac if it haves a black one U STOLE PEPPER!!! AND RETURNED HIM!!!

  • @dillandaman2003 ? wtf?

  • lol what was the thinking behind this...

  • are u nuts?! the cat might be a baby but his paws are sharp, that is really stupid, you are a bad owner!

  • my older cousin Brandon use to have that exact same Cockatiel bird once before some odd years ago, but one day it flew out the window an never came back! i felt bad for him! so yeah that is a form of animal abuse! wat u are letting your cat do to that poor defenseless bird!!! shame on u! >:C

  • aww!! its so fluffy!!! <3

  • *smack* and the door opens...

  • What's a cocktail parrot? A cockatiel that hangs out at bars?

  • @MetalSlugzMaster you put 'em into drinks to give it ,the drink, the right taste.

  • @MetalSlugzMaster

    hahahahahhahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Cats have poison in their claws and saliva and can kill the bird just swiping it. Cute, but BAD idea.....

  • @pencilpush Its not poison, its a type of parasite and they dont always have it. And in their saliva? Wow....smart.

  • @TheKittyKatsMeow I wouldn't have known that. My avian vet told me and if you research it online, it will tell you. Thank you for your response. :)

  • The Bird n the cat is to CUTE!!!! ^.^

  • It's not like they left them in the room together, alone.

  • -_-

    why....why??

    dumb decision

  • the owner is an asshole i would never do that to ANY of my animals that's mean what would you have done if the cat had killed the bird

I'll say it again YOUR A GOD DAMN ASSHOLE

  • This looks all cute but what arsehole puts that poor bird in that type of position

If you were to do that again with the cat a bit older and more mature it's would rip it to bits

I say again - to the owner - YOUR AN ARSEHOLE !!!!

  • hehe exact same cockatiel as mines =D x

  • Why did you do it ? R U OK ? Become I dont think so ! The kitten can to injure the parrot and kill him...It's to bad !

  • i love how people don't research anything before they open their mouth... well some of these people i should say.. like one guy was saying... cats have bacteria and one bite will kill a parrot in 24 hours if not treated right away. sometimes less than..

  • Guys calm the fuck down...they didn't get hurt stop acting like somethings up your ass!

  • @DiscoWulf98 okay, my vote up was on accident i meant DISLIKE.

Do You Know Anythingggggg About Birds?

The Saliva That Cats And Dogs Make In There Mouths Can Kill A Fucking Bird.

Did That Cat Bite The Bird? No.

But Doesn't Mean The Cat Didn't Like Its Self Clean, Then Transfer The Saliva To The Bird.

Then Once The Birds Groom Preen (groom themselfs) It Could Get In The Mouth And Into The Body And End Up Killing The Bird.

So Shut The Fuck Up, You Know NOTHING.

  • wow!!!! are u fucking serious if so at least let the bird keep its wings im a go puke now

  • MY KITTEN JUST ATE MY COCKATIEL......... I thought it was cute until that happened....... R.I.P. Cyclopsiorbonbon............

  • cocktails are not parots they dunn talk~ -lol-

  • @grimgirl11 some of them can talk - LOOK IT UP DUMBASS!!!

  • @grimgirl11 Cockatiels ARE parrots, and some of them do talk. Look it up moron.

  • @grimgirl11 Cockatiels ARE parrots,So are parakeets, and BOTH can talk, do your research.

  • Cocktail...

you know its not nice to let a kitten play with alcohol.

    lol

  • mmmmmmmm should i hit i dont know that thing on on its face looks really dangureus?....

  • i hate these guys owner...

  • it's like its hunter instinct took over that kitten's gentleness, which it displays at first...

  • will u guys relax...it's just a kitten it couldn't injure the parrot, it looks 2 young 2 do that, after all parrots are not stupid....

  • @tm312th Actually if the Kitten Bit,licked,or scratched the cockatiel it could transfer deadly bacteria to the bird,Just imagine that if Human bacteria is harmful to birds what could feline bacteria do. Birds preen their feathers with their mouth, get the picture yet?

  • @Dnash777 Finally someone that actually fucking KNOWS somethinggD:

    Omg, Person...Your Awesome:D

  • sooooo dangerous for the sweet parrot. Not only do the claws carry bacteria that can kill the bird over night. but the saliva is also toxic to a bird. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE speak to an AVIAN VET . I would not want you or your cat to lose this beautiful bab

  • the cat looks like a robot

  • cats carry poison in their nails and saliva, if it gets to the parrot it will kill it in 24 hours if not quicker. Be over cautious in these situations, do not follow this video its wrong. Vets have told many stories of these things happening, dont be one to follow it. Cats and birds do not get along, even if they seem to... accidents arent far off.

  • @jf786 What are you talking about?? Cat´s have poison? omg

  • @grandedunha Actually, they do have nasty bacteria that cause infection, both in their mouth and in their claws. That is what they are talking about. Ever had a cat scratch and it got all itchy? yeah. ever get a cat bite? they often get really grossly infected.

  • @redsolarearth1 maybe they do on their nails, I can believe on it. I have 2 cats at home and one of them is a baby cat.. he was always fighting with the other cat and when I tried to separate them the big one used to bit me.. but I never had any problem with that one. I still have some scar but it didn´t become a infection anyway.

  • was that cat drunk?

  • OMG I am afraid...

This cat can eat your parrot to lunch !!!

And I dont wanna to see it

  • My cockatiel's an ass wipe. He beats my wussy dog up and bites me when I'm sleeping.

  • Everybody needs to chill. Ever hear of a cat and a bird being 'friends'? This is how it's done. If you keep the kitten away from the bird and scold it for going near it, the kitten is going to either fear it or want to get it more putting the bird in more danger, however, if they're more familiar with each other, that most likely wont happen.

  • kittens=stubid annoyng things

    parrot=wise animal and can speak

  • The bird does not look clipped, so he could fly away. Chill

  • hmm u no the cockatiel would scar it to death evan being within 5 metres dumb ass!thats crool

  • Why the hell is everyone saying the kitten looks sick? Yeah it's being clumsy but am I the only one who notices the fur is arched up? That means it's afraid of the bird. It's not sure what to think of it and it's being cautious. My full grown cats act the same way around new things and they're perfectly healthy. As for the bird, I hope it's still alive. Never a good idea to let your cat swat at a bird.

  • My mothers cat does the same thing to my boa constrictor! LOL... but i try not to get them too close to eachother or the kitty could become dinner lol.

  • That cockatiels like " bitch, get your hands out my face"

  • your kitten looks sick, i mean they arnt that clumsy and slow at that age.

  • @Jop3lius shows how much you know about kittens. they can be clumsy as that up to maturity (6 months - 1year), this cat looks quite normal just doing what kittens do best.... being curious. the kitten in this video could not have been more than 8 weeks old.

  • @CanadianCatastrophes

ive actually been growing kittens all my life, and if you dont know i have experience, then do so, but 6m-1years old kitten arent clumsy. it prob is fine kittie and healty but doesnt change the fact that it looked sick to me, maybe wrong food or something that can cause that.

  • Even if animals can get along, you cannot assume that they will. A cat can kill a bird even with a small cut as the cats nails carries poison for the bird.. even after an attack if the bird survives.. it wont for another 24 hours. Cats and birds naturally do not get along.. one play time could be the last time. Please be careful and read about the animals you buy.

  • My Cockateil went thru 2 cats in his lifetime and was buddies with each. The cats were always fine as long as he was not flying around and even then they would not be aggressive. So like other animals they can learn to live together. And I would never put any of my pets in danger.

  • @Levi598 whether thats true or not, neverrrr leave them unsupervised.

  • I hate to break it to you, but it looks more like a Cockateil.

  • @ShrapmaElite you beat me to it

  • @tamra1975 lol, well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows... :D

  • the parrot could be injuried thats a bad idea

  • It's a COCKATIEL parrot not cocktail!

  • Pardon me, but these people are just evil terrorists.

If they cared about the bird they wouldn't let him near the cat.

It takes just a little to realize the danger of the situation.

  • beautiful white kitten:) and pretty cockatiel. but bad idea to put them together like that :)

  • you are an idiot for allowing them to interact that closely.

  • It's too risky to let a cat around your bird. Even if the cat isn't trying to do damage, it could still hurt the bird. Have you ever had a kitten grab your hand, bite it, and kick it with it's back feet? They aren't even trying to do damage when they do that, but that would most certainly kill a bird.

  • @jordanafrank Yes and people allow viscious dogs around babies every day and we dont say a word ;)

Sometimes its best to let two young unknowing of the world animals to just get along...which time and time again has proven....they do get along.

  • @Aeonboom There is actually something in feline saliva that is deadly to birds, so not exactly the same thing. Even if the cat was being friendly it could kill the bird.

  • It has an Anaesthesia effect, so when they lick their wounds it numbs and cleans the would helping it heal more efficiently. I could see why saliva would harm a bird but I have known many cats and birds living in the same family and none have died.

Interestingly though cats whiskers are Antennae, they pick up on the electro magnetic vibrations of their surroundings, a cat could find its way home even if you put it in another country.

All in all though I stand by my original statement =)

  • @Aeonboom It's called pasturella bacteria and if a bird is infected you have a very short time to seek treatment or the bird will die. There is also an enzyme in the claws which is poisonous but not as deadly as the bacteria in the saliva. I do agree that cats and birds can live in the same family safely, you just need to be intelligent about it and take precautions. I have 3 cats and 3 birds, and while I have not lost any of my birds, I am also very careful.

  • Comment removed

  • @marigilfoil I do not let the birds out of their cages without the cats confined to a separate area, to me it's not worth the risk.

  • @marigilfoil Totally agree with that, I personally belive if you don't have the capacity or intelligence to understand the nature of Animals you shouldn't own them. So with that said...Being careful goes without saying.

  • @Aeonboom I would say a word. I wouldn't allow my child anywhere near a dog without learning to respect the animal and it's capabilities

  • Whoever posted this doesn't even know how to spell cockatiel....duhhh! no wonder you're stupid enough to put your bird with a cat!

  • lol these ppl are so stupid they make a big deal out of everything PPL ITS JUST A CAT PLAYING WITH A BIRD CALM DOWN!!!!

  • thats not a parrot get it right its a cockateil

  • you're a dope, it is a parrot, a cockatiel is a type of parrot

  • @kablooey not exactly numb nuts

  • @kablooey actually, a cockatiel is defined as a parakeet.

  • @evilman210 No, actually genetically their closest relative is the Palm Cockatoo, Cockatiels are downsized Cockatoos.

  • @janstett2 a parakeet is defined as "Any of various small slender parrots, usually having long tapering tails"

  • @kablooey nope not anymore cockatiels are no longer considered parrots. :)

  • wow, the parrot is totally unimpressed with the kitty's "attacks". :)

  • i would never allow my cockatiel under those circumstances, yes they look very cute together like that but i wouldn't take the risk.

  • Hit kitty face every time when he go close to parrot.

  • MASSIVE FAIL!!! How is the bird supposed to defend itself against a cat who over thousands of years has learned that Bird = food!

  • I would just disable comments bro, obviously people make a huge deal out of everything on the internet, because they have nothing better to do.

  • Dude, seriously. Get the fuck over yourselves. "Animal cruelty?" Go whine to PETA and get off of youtube. You wanna see animal cruelty go check out the sickfuck who records his snakes eating live prey while laughing as they scream.

One good bite from the cockatiel and the kitten won't bother another bird.

  • Parrot-related birds have extremely sharp claws & beaks. The Cockateil is more likely to hurt the kitten than the other way around.

  • stupid stupid people. one scratch or bite from that cat and the bird will be dead within days.

there should be a law requiring people to have their IQ tested before being allowed to own pets.

  • аfunny

  • flagged ._.

  • i agree this is a very bad idea especially with a cat that is already swatting the bird. i know they can sometimes get along but that depends on the intensity of the cat's prey drive and that kitty obviously has a strong one. I realize it looks like a baby but it only take one well placed bite to hurt the bird

  • Why do you let your cat kill wild birds all day?

  • Here's a great idea...let's take away the only mode of transportation a bird has (its wings) and put it on the floor with a natural predator. I would get thrown in jail for putting a paraplegic in the ocean with sharks...what's the difference here?

  • Actually if you look you can see that the bird's flight feathers are a dark gray color. So the bird is not only capable of taking a good chunk out of the kitten, but also able to fly away.

Sure if the kitten got aggressive the cockatiel might get hurt, but the owner of the tiel was taping it so both were under observation and I'm sure the tiel would announce any attack the kitten makes. Just cause its a bird doesn't mean its porcelain and just cause its a cat don't make it a killer.

  • *COCKATIEL!!!

  • Very stupid. I can't believe how many idiots do this.

  • Oh my god. Am I seriously seeing this?

  • thats a COCK tail wahahha!!

  • thats a bad idea

  • thats dangerous! a bacteria in cat saliva is poisonous to birds. plus the fact that you have a cat and bird loose in the same room

  • The kitten could injure the parrot, if it wants to or not.

  • it is to dangeraous ! what for ignorant people

  • its a cockatiel

  • ahah, drunk kitten

  • stupid cat get away from the bird

  • That is SUCH a cute cat!

My cat's the same.. just wants to play with the bird's tail.

The best way to keep that curiosity from turning into a hunt is to let your bird bite the cat.. sounds weird and mean, but I'd much rather my bird bite my cat than my cat bite my bird.

    Super cute video, though!

  • omg that was really cute!

but it was really dangerous to put a CAT by a BIRD!

cats like to HUNT and ive seen MANY feathers all over my yard....bird feathers.... T~T poor bird

  • dude i have a cocktail parrot myself, why would you let a cat even get near it :/?

  • Oh great... let the cat accidentally blind the poor lil bird.

  • i love how kittens always look like theyre about to fall over! ^_^

  • ...

  • .....

  • Has anyone thought about the fact that the cockatiel has WINGS???? hmmmm. It is a young cat exploring, if it was going to kill the bird it would have by now. I agree it is irrisponsible of the owner but at the end of the day it is nature and the bird has wings...a huge advatage to the bird!

  • You should really only let a bird bigger than the cat be around the cat, that's not safe to have a cockatiel around a cat like that, the cat would win in a fight :\

  • oh shut up

  • Just saying, that's very dangerous, and they could regret it bad.

  • welll true... but still its good to see it didnt happen

  • soon that cat will kill the bird...this is irresponsible

  • agreed

  • poor bird

  • Seriously.

If the person trusts their animals together enough, they wouldn't have them together. and the person above me, thats just lame. Seriously.

Its not like theyre harming anything. Like I said,

Its their choice.. And they must trust their pets enough.

  • I knew of a african grey that a woman had and also a dog. The bird and dog played together lovely. With no warning the dog snapped the birds head off. It was awful. I have a dog as well and NEVER take chances even though Meg appears to like the bird.

  • tats cute

  • you guys are mean

  • poor bird

  • that is too cute lol. I love kittens. I kinda wish mine was still a lil baby

  • LOL! Cocktail.XD That's hilarious.

  • wtf is a cocktail parrot?
