One more thing you illiterate jackoff. If you want to talk about "successful" General managers, Sinden couldn't qualify to hold the jockstraps of ANY of the following GM's. Sam Pollock (first and foremost), Lou Lamoriello, Glen Sather just to name a recent FEW. Hell, the famous "Hatchet Man" Cliff Fletcher was a better GM than Sinden. Sinden points: *coached the Bruins to the Stanley Cup. *named head coach and manager of the Team Canada for the Summit Series. Obtained Neely and the third-overall pick in the 1987 draft (Glen Wesley) for Barry Pederson. Stole Jean Ratelle and Brad Park from the Rangers for Esposito and Carol Vadnais. He later fleeced the Rangers for Rick Middleton and the Blues for Adam Oates.
Sinden was at the helm Boston's record-setting 29-year playoff streak.

Furthermore, Sinden's job was to keep the team competitive year after year and he did that with impressive consistency. That is the definition of success not simply how many Cups did you win. A GM's job is to have a competitive team with a chance to win on a consitent basis and Harry did that. As far as your silly-assed cheap comment, consider teams like the Rangers & Flyers. Before the salary cap they threw money at players like it was Monopoly money.
