I was thinking about buying this, on the fence so to speak. For a few general and specific reasons. I'm not sure I want to get into another MMO for example, they can easily take too much time investment away from the important things.

@iamextremelyawesome I have to agree. Although I'm going to try it because my friend and I were looking for a good coop type game to play. This looks about as close as that comes for me. However this late in the production of this game it looks shitty. Its what 2 weeks before the release and the glitches are incredible, the graphics are mediocre and the gameplay looks like every other fucking MMO out there.

Fact is if one class can dps the same as another class, then can spec tank at the flip of a switch...the maurader gets shafted...why? because he can ONLY dps...all this shit about 3 versatile ways to dps is a ton of crap...im very skeptical.

@phdotsco not really. think about it there is going to be armor it looks like and i'm sure a tank will have traditional "tank stats" and if he were to use the same armor and switch to dps then he would be below a maurader. That is what it looks like from the video's of the UI's and such. you also gotta think they have been working on this game for years so it should be very good and "well built".

@phdotsco So don't play a Marauder? The whole Hybrid vs Pure DPS argument has been around forever. The point is that Classes have different abilities, strengths, weaknesses and utility.  Saying Marauders get the shaft is like saying Mages get the shaft because Shamans can ranged spell DPS, Heal or Melee DPS. But Shamans can't summon food or teleport people. Utility, strengths and weaknesses.
