And the padding isn't what i would consider padding. It feels like hard compressed padding. Thats why you dont see peoples foot sink in the ring and thats why it really hurts.
i cant rlly, because wrestling ring matts come in diffrent sizes, wwe rings hate 1 to 2 to 3 inch thick padding so it wouldnt hurt at all there but i wrestled in a ring liek last thusday or friday and it had barly half an inch of padding and it hurt like hell
so its just padding because if it was padding shouldn't the wwe ring like go down when they stand of it because it looks stiff to me and people keep saying that there are springs under the ring do springs make a big differn'ts
hos rings can be both long peice or quick connect break down, thats prolly a hos long peice considering its not break down at all besides for the sideframe exept for the side fream is vary low and leavs little for weapon storing hmm dont most hos/all pro sports rings have HUGE gaps between the floor and the bottom of the side frame........
learn about the buisness b4 u post comments like that what kind of asswhole posts a comment on a video of a indy wrestling ring and says "what about the weapons under the ring" most hardcore stuff is looked down on and did u ever stop to think who put the weapons under the ring?????? it was planted there obviusly hardcore wrestling should be about finding what u can outside the ring and useing it.
Wrestling rings are very hard.... they have almost no give, the springs are there for support, its made of very thing canvas material, some plywood Metal frames and posts, the vinyl tape/electrical tape to wrap around the metal yes metal ropes, and some "pillows" for turnbuckle pads a ring typically the wrestlers help put it together so depending on how many help thats how long it takes, can take up to 4 hours I think that covers all the questions
rdingthisispointless the ring ropes are not metal they are actual heavy duty rope. If they were meatl you would break your back and rib cage when you hit them and the ring is not that hard. Its pad its not hard. there is a soft layer of padding and then a hard layer of padding and then soft again.
I dont know what ring you have been in but your completely wrong on all of it.
Most rings nowadays use steel cables (metal) for ropes with padding or garden hose around the outside. Then they're wrapped with colored tape. As I understand it, "heavy duty rope" was used a long time ago.
As far as the padding in the ring itself, it depends. There are many styles of ring construction and every ring owner/promoter has their own level of padding. The WWE has an uber soft ring. It looks and sounds stiff as hell on TV but if you see it in person, its really not bad at all. The particular ring in this video uses steel cables for ropes. Hard vs. soft... well that's purely subjective. Hope this helps.
Yeah, steel cables on this ring, how can I be wrong about this? I've ran those ropes! As for the WWE, I never said their ring wasn't heavy rope, I just stated that the rope technique is an older method. "Most rings... use steel cables" Not all.
Those are just chairs that are used as placeholders. The video crew does some measurements and places those where the corner posts should be placed. So when the ring crew arrives, they know exactly where production wants them to set up the ring. Hope this answers your question.

wattsatllan18 3 years ago
there is one spring in the center
CodyFNPunk 3 years ago
this one doesent look like it has a spring it looks like its long peive stile, so the long peices themself absorb it all and has no need for 1
ActionFigureSociety 3 years ago
then u need to learn about the buisness more if u think all rings r like that
ActionFigureSociety 3 years ago
so does the ring hurt because i have no idea
wattsatllan18 3 years ago
um it can hurt, it depends on what u mean i guess, do u mean takeing bumps or? what?
ActionFigureSociety 3 years ago
know i mean if you were to walk in there and just jump and land would you hurt
wattsatllan18 3 years ago
if umean l;and on your feet then no, if u mean land on ur back then yes a lil bit.
ActionFigureSociety 3 years ago
why do you say a lil bit i mean how hard is a wrestling ring can you compare it to something
wattsatllan18 3 years ago
i cant rlly, because wrestling ring matts come in diffrent sizes, wwe rings hate 1 to 2 to 3 inch thick padding so it wouldnt hurt at all there but i wrestled in a ring liek last thusday or friday and it had barly half an inch of padding and it hurt like hell

the padding its self is vary stiff and the spring makes it look even stiffer, also springs just make it go up and down and look good when u bump :)

ow i get it and the stiffer it is the less it hurts
