When I was quite young, like maybe 12, I wanted to go Australia, and now being 23, I still haven't gone, but that's normal since I am unemployed and our household doesn't have a great deal of money, etc. However, I couldn't gone by now if only I'd saved up here and there, and seeing this advert is making me do just that!

The advert, I think, really captures Australia, and when I saw it, it's like I was being called (how cheesy does that sound!?) I am now determined to go in the next year or so.

@rick182z Australia Day commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet at Sydney Cove in 1788. It was the British who did it to begin with, using that logic I could put the blame on the UK and say they are racist.

Australia Day is not celebrated for any racial reasons, just like Christmas is not solely celebrated for its religious reasons these days, Australia day is not celebrated because it has a racial basis. It is just a reason to take a day off and have a good time with the family.
