@brdbarreira Umm,this is 2006, the code has been changed,everyone could score over 15 until the code was changed.

@markoth97 It's very difficult to get more then a 9.0 in execution, I know in 2006 everyone was overscored, but this wasn't, it really deserved a 9.0 +

@brdbarreira Well of course,some are even overscored now,look at the scores from this years nationals , or worlds,some scores were messed up and not fair.

@markoth97 Totally agree... in my opinion, judges must be retired gymnasts, because they know how it feels when your opponent was clearly overscored, so then scores would be more fair

i tend to think that chinese gymnasts arent always very lucky.. e.g: li shanshan (beam) cheng fei... xiao sha also... i just SOO wished that they had gotten the gold~!

why did they say she needed to beat 1 15.325 then said shed win with a 15.225 is thats a lower score???

because she needed a 15.225 to make sure her vault average was above sacramone's. she had a little leeway because her first vault was good

it is always impressive to see someone defend their title... usually, they win one year and a couple years later, they win again... but Cheng Fei was amazing here.
