  • Remember when you could play a 45 record and leave the arm off so it would keep repeating? My father used beg me to turn this song off, with a promise of buying me something new on his next payday!! I still have my 45's from back on the day, at age 58!

  • @retired42002vz I have all of my old 45s and albums as well for someone who just turned (ugh) 60.

  • My Condolences to Mr Goodmans Family. x

  • "True love will never die ... "

  • I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Al Goodman, my deep sorrow go out to all of us and his family. I truly enjoyed that wonderful and beautiful sound of "LOVE ON A TWO WAY STREET AND YOU GOTTA BE A SPECIAL LADY." W e will never hear a good voice like Mr. Goodman, and the sound from back in the day.

  • It is with deep sorrow and sympathy we announce Al Goodman death on July 28th, 2010 at 9:41 AM EST. AAEG will always remember his professionalism and friendship. He will be surely missed,

  • @aaegcom oh how sad

  • I love you too Billy Brown, you still sound soooo..... good!

  • Exquisite!

  • Man, I miss Harry Ray! NOBODY can/could fill his shoes. RIP Harry, you gave us beautiful music.

  • Get down Billy Brown..

  • @ejber1 I know you have'nt such beautiful as this! no one can sing like this to day.

I DO was the song for the Love of My Life Melvin Thomas King.

    Where ever u r God Blezz u.

I'll always remember YOU. Still LOVE YOU,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • The original Moments were as follows: Mark Greene, Eric Olfus Sr.,Richard Gross and John Morgan. Eric left the group before "not on the outside" was recorded. Mark Greene out of D.C. was the lead singer on that song. Mark and Richard left the group in 1969 with Billy Brown and Al Goodman taking their place, later John Morgan the last original member was replaced by Harry Ray. Love on a two way street was Billy Brown.

  • Simply sublime!!

  • I met them when Ray sung Love on a two way street in nyc I will always Love The moments aka Ray Goodman & Brown

  • Lindíssima!!!!!

  • I think this song was good...they are great still doing it after what 40 years...they re-released this song with Billy's vocals...he's always been my favorite...Al was one of the very best but Billy has been the backbone..."I Do," "Such A Lovely Way She Loves," "Sunday," and on and on!

  • Delightful. New fact this is the track Jay-Z's Empire State of Mind sampled. a NJ group get sampled for NY anthem

  • They sound great!!!! Wonderful singing.

  • man talk about ruining a classic song,, get the hook!

  • i luv the transition from his normal manly voice to falsetto LOL

  • @BayanTheOne ... In soul music, falsetto is manly. Eddie Kendricks, Ted Mills, Russell Thompkins, Jr, Eban Brown... the list goes on...

  • thanks for telling, else how would i know? LMAO

belee it or not i got no doubt in masculinity of these gentlemen

  • Can anybody tell me is this the original lead singer? Is this Ray in their later years?

  • the original version was in 1970 with the Mark Greene in the moments

  • Correct. The voices on the recording are of Mark Greene(lead), Eric Olfus, Jr., Richard Gross, and John Morgan

  • Billy is good, but the songs made famous by Mark Green, no one can touch.

  • The original lead singer of 'Love on a Two Way Street' is Billy Brown (who singing lead in this video). He also sang lead on such songs as 'I Do', 'Sunday', 'Lovely Way She Loves'. It's Billy Brown's voice sing lead on all of those songs. The late great Harry Ray was not in the group at the time.

  • @MsClassof1969 What other songs did Mzrk Greene make famous? I just remember Not on the Outside. Thanks for the other info about original members of the momemnts. I didn't know that. I remember when Billy Brown came. He tried to sing Not On the Outside but Mark owns that. Don't get me wrong I love Billy to death and the Moments were my favorite group when I was a teenager. I had one child hood friend who I used to debate with over who was the best..The Moments or the Delfonics! lol

  • Billy is good, but the songs made famous by Mark Green, no one can touch. Mark was the bomb. R.I.P. Harry Ray.

  • sorry buddy, but "Ray,Goodman and Brown" brought the Moments beyond newark, and presented them to the world.

  • smooth as velvet...

  • Michael Jordan in the killer white suit....

  • I used to work at The Valley Forge Music Fair and have seen these guys many times, great. Wondering if anyone knows if there's a video or recording of them signing "RIde Like The Wind" by Christopher Cross. They did this song better than anybody....big crowd pleaser.

  • I saw them on 3/21 in NYC. I took a pic with Billy Brown that I will treasure forever (he has ALWAYS been my favorite). They are gracious gentlemen and give their fans a lot of respect. They are a part of me and I never tire of their music. I have vinyls, cds and videos and now a great picture. All my love guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
