Jane told Felix to get it over with cuse he was bored and wanted to go home to report to (mostly Caius) that Bella was still human. Jane tortured Bree bc she wasn't listing. Bree had gold her name Jane wouldn't of done it. But jane tells them all rule breakers must be punished, end of story. No one cares if you don't know them, you have to, in the book AND in the real world.

Edward should have been killed too. In New Moon Edward says one of the laws is to keep the existence of vampires a secret. He broke that law big time with Bella

When I read the book I really did say outloud in the middle of the library, "BULLSHIT!" I was so embarrassed but I honestly thought that's bullshit because if the Volturi don't give second chances then Bella should have been killed the second Aro met her. Yet they kill off Bree who really would have been the coolest little sister in the Cullen family :/

I Loved the Book! Poor Bree!:( I Absolutely Loved her and Diego they were so devoting to each other!(: Super Secret Ninja Club!:D Jane, Victoria, and Riley are all genuinely jerks! No...they are worse! Not even the worst cuss word can describe them! I cried when Bree was killed and whenever she figured out Diego was dead I got tears in my eyes as well. Bree is easily the most sympathetic character in the series. It was never her choice to be turn into a vampire. Even when she was a vampire, she was the most harmless one.

Diego died because he found out about Victroria's allience with the Volturi . That night Bree and Diego stalk Riley, suspicious that he is meeting with "her." They eavesdrop on Riley's conversation with Victoria. Eventually the Volturi show up, threatening to punish Victoria for amassing a vampire army but willing to give her army a chance to destroy the Cullens. diego stays to talk with riley and bree runs away . thats when diego died.

SPOILERS: When I was reading Short Second Life of Bree I never wanted it to end. And to know that Bree was going to die... :`( It was heart breaking. I usually hate Edward and always slag him because I'm Team Jacob but in this book I loved him! And he knows the truth about the Volturi. And he was so kind - trying to fight for Bree. But alas... Jane. D: Grr.

@AnimaniacPro It is good, but it's, in some ways, pointless, because the ending is known. SM actually realised after writing Bree's story out how much she would've loved to expand her story and not kill her off. So, it is good, but it's basically just an insight into what it was like inside the newborn army and there's a little friendship/love story in between but it's sad the whole time because you know she's going to die.
