  • Hey! I have this problem with pldx. ( I have the latest version and fix ) Firstly i open pldx recorder, then i start tf2 with that button. Then i type "playdemo blablabalb" to console and let it load. After that i want start recording as avi. format. It starts to record (goes slow mo) , then i press f11 again to stop recording. I close tf2 happily, but i cannot find avi file anywhere. What ive done wrong ?

  • can you guys fix the tool? it hasnt been working well for 1-2month

  • Dude you're a fucking legend!

I was just starting to try and record some of my clips with different people telling me to do it different ways.

And then you come along and show us the best, smoothest, easiest way to record a video.

    Thank You!

  • Is it possible to make it save the tga's in a folder outside of the tf2 one? For example like "E:\caca\". I'm asking this because I have an SSD with only 80 Gb and tf2 is on it, so I don't have much space at all for frames. I do have a non-steam tf2 for recording on my HDD, but it gets really annoying having to unpack all the gcf's over and over again after each update :/.

  • @metalpiss

    Unfortunately its not possible :(

However what you can do is just install TF2 to your other hard drive. I've personally got 5 HDD's in my PC and have Steam on a 500GB HDD with very little else, however if don't want to do that, there is a way to mount a folder in such a way that it's bassically a shortcut to a folder on your other hard disk, bu I can't remember exactly how to do it off the top of my head so you'd need to google it.

  • @adamskyride hey, thanks for the answer! I searched around and found out how to make that folder mount thing :D. It's done with the "mklink" command (win 7 & vista) like this:

    mklink /D link target

link is the virtual folder that transfers everything to target, where the stuff is actually stored. For example:

    mklink /D "C:\Stuff\Poo" "E:\Toilet"

Note though that the "Poo" folder must not exist! The mklink command will create it.

  • speak louder in future vidoes.

  • Ridiculous only 1 view!
