I love this tune and especially "joy" off these strange collection of demos, too...
is there ANY chance to hear it in better quality?
were these actually demos or unreleased studio songs that got a demo quality by tape-bootlegging? i can't imagine they recorded a soundtrack (right?) in demo quality?

it's such a trippy song. one of my favorites by them. too bad these live performances don't stand up to the studio recording.

i'm a little lazy but i'm pretty sure it's from i saw the sun the collection of unreleased songs.
it may be a live recording now that i think about it. can't really remember exactly what it sounds like so i'm not sure.
