Custom PC magazine did a test with the fan blowing in and then out. Corsairs suggested blowing air in set up, only dropped it by 1 degree. So i just set it up blowing out, cuz that's what's always worked for me.

@garystorey that's exactly what i am worried about...i mean this is an awesome case, dont get me wrong and i understand that cable management is made easier but i think the company and uniform look of the hardware inside the pc combined with liquid cooling tubes and leds give a nice look. if everything is all spread out, i feel like the look of the pc on the inside will feel empty.

Pretty standard temps when it comes to air-cooling. But there are i7 920 over-clock tutorials that you can follow, but if you fried your computer it's your own fault :P.

I also had the ex58-extreme but it was doa, yet still it already got water cooling for the chipset. So going with it might be smarter. If you want to water cool the chipset.

Othervise you need to fuck around with the chipset on the r2e so gigabyte had probably been less trouble for you and cheaper.

Yeah, a bit. Version 2 can cover 6 memory slots, it has 2 larger fans instead of 3 smaller ones like version 1.

it's not supposed to blow on the radiator. The fan behind the rad pulls in air from the outside and the fan inside do the same.
