@JRSportBrief There is a secret about the phillies team i will tell you, with the 4 aces in the rotation, what is the most important part of pitching from OTHER team members who arent pitchers? ... defense behind them, the nature of "bench players" is usually that they are VERY good defensive players, but not so hot at the plate, with this staff, and defensive gems like wilson valdez, ben fransisco, greg dobbs, etc. The phillies will win it all in 2011.

@danynumero6 I believe that they will do alright, but I have the Rockies winning the NL West this year. I know that they have a great pitching rotation, although their offense is just not quite there yet. Like JR said in the vid, the Giants got hot, and that led them to winning the World series. I'm not saying they're bad, I'm just stating that they're not the best. No hard feelings though, and yes, I believe my opinion may be biased, so sorry, lol.

The team really came together in the 2nd half of the season last year, so just think how they will be for a whole season. We still got Aubrey Huff Cody Ross Pat Burrell. Sandoval is in great shape now. Tejada still has power in him. Freddy Sanchez will do better if he'ss health. Andres Torres and Buster Posey will continue to get better. And we got a great prospect in Brandon Belt.

Cliff Lee is suddenly the solution. They lost Werth and got a hesitant Utley, two of the guys who hurt the Giants most. The Giants have beat all of their starters especially Lee, twice in the World Series. The Giants have just started a dynasty they have very young pitching and batting, with veterens such as Zito, Huff, and Tejeda. I have the Giants this year and the next 5-6!

I would say that the Phillies will win the NL. The Giants may be able to some things but they will not overtake Philly. In the east, either the yanks or the Red Sox will go to the Series. The east will represent the Fall Classic this year! Last year was whack!
