You are absolutely right. Having abs in Phuket served absolutely no purpose at all in and of itself. However, I originally set this goal when I was in Phuket 6 months earlier when I was 20% bodyfat with a belly that hung over my beach towel so I don't think it was a pointless goal. If I hadn't set that goal I'd still be wondering "what if" and living like the slob I had been for the previous 6 years.
