  • absolutely....i still am a nokia loyalist and wont shy away from going back to it if there is a nice handset....

android right now has close to 20,000 apps in the android market...not sure if maemo has these many yet...

somehow i dont understand whey nokia is still advocating use of stylus

  • mameo has more apps?wrong. google it.

  • so how would this go up against the nokia n97, xpress music, or n900?

  • i haven't had hands on experience with all these handsets, but here is what i have heard through word of mouth:

    Nokia N97 hangs a lot

    N97 mini performs better

Nokia N900 is great with great reviews...however being new operating system - Maemo it is relatively new and the world at this point is focusing it's attention in developing apps for iphone and android platforms...maybe future symbian iterations may turn focus back to Nokia...

    - 5800 xpress music is fine...i don't like using stylus

  • I think everyone has to admit that they have copyed the iphones look

  • iPhone was a Game Changer....and everyone lived happily ever after...

  • How so? The fact it has a touchscreen doesnt mean they copied the looks. I mean, where are they gonna put it if not the front of the phone? The Back?

  • As for Nokia N900...I was really excited and ready to buy the handset in February, but I had this fear back in my head that maybe the Maemo platform could not pick up as fast as the Apple or android. It would have been a huge investment, plus I somehow loath using stylus.

Finally the Nexus one uses latest android os - The Eclair 2.1 and my first impressions have really positive.

It Nokia announces something revolutionary in the MWC in february i would not hesitate to dump my Nexus one for it .

  • Guys honestly I have been a Nokia Loyalist for last 10 years...I have never had any problems with the N95.

Only qualm was the they themselves did not support or publicize that many applications.Since I owned the N95 back in 2007 I can say that I only have installed max. 20 apps

But when i hear that the app store has 80,000 applications and google android market has 20,000 applications I kind of feel a bit let down by Nokia's lack of application support even though they had a solid head start.

  • you need to experience the nexus one urself to really see why this device is so great!

  • hahaha sexy stu cazz shot him away and buy a n900 thats sexy

  • after ive seen few videos, android is kind of a letdown for me. mb in the future, but i am still excited about getting n900

  • I don't think it's more than 200 grams

  • Dood more attention to details is needed... :) M sure you will get better with tym...

  • I had a g1 for a while, didn't really like Android all that much.

    You should've gotten a N900. Its literally a mobile computer :)

  • hey what is the whole nexus one packaging weight

i need to knw coz im shipping it to myself

    THANKS HEAPS
