i just discovered electric instruments today and i must say that I personally hate them. Part of being a musician is working and developing your tone so to me theses pieces of trash are basically cheating. NO ELECTRONIC DEVICE WILL EVER BE ABLE TO DO WHAT A HUMAN CAN DO WHEN IT COMES TO MUSIC. ABSOLUTELY STUPID!!!!
@asfaoboe15 that's the same thought that comes into my head when i watch these videos... you put it perfectly. the worst comments are the ones that are like, "beautiful piece of art!" it is NOT art, merely fingering notes and jamming around on the blues scale is a poor representation of art. people should be listening to real artists like coltrane or hawkins or prez or parker... now that is art.
Lol. At first I thought it was bad because you were playing in a different key than the background, but I just had another video open. Silly me. This is pretty good!
I'm thinking of buying one of these. But I have no training in wind instruments what so ever. I just always loved saxophone but I have no time for lessons because I'm already too busy with drumming.
Would you say someone that is not trained at all could learn this instrument on his own?
It was easy for me, I learned most of my sax playing by myself, I learned by a blue book(I believe it was fischer that made it) with fingerings of many instruments including saxophone, I think learning it all has to do mainly with your interest in the instrument and hand eye coordination!!!!!! I think you should get one of these if you like the sound, also I wish you the best of luck on your musical journey!!!!!! thanks for watching my video and once again good luck!!!!!!!

I have one of these and I love it. it's not the exact same feel as a sax but it's cool because your tone is always perfect

Keep practicing! Nice sounds though; what were you using as your tone generator? I use a MOTIF-ES Rack + PLG150-VL and also a Turbo VL70m.
WX5 players Rule.
