He's skinny and frankly it looks fine on him. I do not support "cross-dressing" in general (a guy wearing lipstick or a ball-gown is creepy for instance) but for all intents and purposes this could be a kilt -- it's a little too short, but he pulls it off.
If you think about, it there is nothing inherently feminine about the wearing of a skirt-shaped piece of fabric (which is why kilts are acceptable to the general population).

ok for the record I know it's not a kilt lol. It is a skirt 100% :P.
But telling him it was a kilt was the only way he would wear it.
And the title sounds better that way.
