The only difference. Is you can't track drop and at any place on the record. You can either spin the record forward to find the spot you're looking for, or you can set the part you want to go to, drop the needle anywhere on the record, and you're at that spot.. it's a sick program. First one that does what a vinyl dj would want. It's the new wave of mixing records. (Mixing records without having to lug around 500 records.. major plus)

Limewire is hit and miss. Best to stick to beatport to be sure of quality. Searto is such a great program!

my laptop is strictly for serato so dont have to many worries about it stuffin up but i always carry a spare couple of records incase the unforseen happens,jus flick switch from line to phono put record on then reboot laptop...simple really as long as u a confident dj and dont freak out then its all good,dead air for 30 secs or so but hey....hahaha. The box ir pretty solid so wil take a bit before that dies on ya unless u break usb port
