actually there is an interview on youtube where Paul admits that him and John could not read sheet music and when writing songs they never wrote down the notes. As long as they remembered the chords they were fine. That's what makes him so great in my opinion. Here he is, one of the most talented musicians of all time and he taught himself how to play each instrument.... just sayin'

actually there is an interview on youtube where Paul admits that him and John could not read sheet music and when writing songs they never wrote down the notes. As long as they remembered the chords they were fine. That's what makes him so great in my opinion. Here he is, one of the most talented musicians of all time and he taught himself how to play each instrument.... just sayin'

His father had him learn how to entertain and play so they could get invited to the parties. In addition, they were surrounded by musicians who could read. The producer G Martin was a clasically trained professional.
