The VQ series is an outdated turd of an engine, yeah bring your 370 to a track day without and oil cooler and it goes into limp mode after two laps because the oil temps are too high, that is if you havn't crashed because the brakes have faded so badly you have put it into a wall. The Gtr is a great piece of engineering but it sounds like a blender (like most nissan 6 cylinders) and is purely a numbers car. Great performance for the money but that's it.

I have a Nissan Sentra as my daily and is my first car with 200,000 miles on it and it runs incredibly well. We are also talking about RB engines, VG's, VK's. Nissan engines overall are great and they don't 'need' assistance from anyone else.

The Murcielago pulls away from the GTR on the straights, the Exige driven by Kinoshita took a shortcut and cheated because he felt lonely that the Exige had no match against the other supercars. On the same TV program there was another supercar race sans GTR but with NSX-R. Sadly the NSX got smoked by Murcielago and Gallardo, same track Twinring Motegi. So this program isn't staged for Japanese cars. In this vid Murcielago lost because it ran out of gas. Subtitles may help you understand more

the lambo has its max torque at 6.5k rpms. you have to rev it to the max and shift up at the red line. then you are much closer to max torque in the next gear. thats how you have to drive to go fast around the track.
