@cmarvell1 With "the mod map" I mean the downloaded mod that you unzipped.

@cmarvell1 It's easy. Search for a map, that is probably in My Documents, called My Games. Then GasPoweredGames, Supreme Commander (Forged Alliance), mods (if there isn't a map called mods make one), then place/copy the mod map into the map. Then start your game, do skirmish, click game options (or something like that), then mod manager, click the downloaded mod, then click ok and your done.

@theeclownbro every aircraft type has it's own altitude. gunships travel the lowest and t3 spyplanes are travelling the highest(high enough to avoid t1 and t2 AA). Even bombers and interceptors fly at a different altitudes.

I have a friend who is in love with Command and Conquer and Starcraft series, and thinks this game is lame compared to them. Does he not realize how epic great battles and strategy can get you to? I need help from any of you guys and come up with advice for me to convince him that he should give this game a chance. It's the most epic RTS and deserves it, I need to get him out of the dinky battles in CnC.

@Specopleader Supcom has the strategic zoom, great recource management, support for multiple cores and moniters (one of the first to do this), a great modding and map making community, and is incredibly ballanced between the factions. These are good reasons, however, starcraft is still a great game. (command and conquer may not be as good as supcom, however this is my preference?

The only thing i don't like is the way the aircraft and ships fall. I can understand how the small planes can fall quickly but the big ships should fall slower

im not talking about normal units, but te mod ones, if you look, the uef air ships look remarkebly similar to there boats, but cybran seem to have been made more, effectively.

Always found it annoying on those water maps that I could not submerge engineers to build some bases to force naval/sub fights.

Especially with half the races looking so "liquid culture".

you have to make a new folder called mod and install the files into that, extractfrom zip file and it doea the rest auto all you have to do is activate the mod in the mod part of the game

Well what i did

is make a folder in supreme commander called mods it should look something like this : C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\mods After that just drag the folder to it the mod folder and when u play go to mod manager in Game, U can do it in extras or in skirmish and activate it Done. There it is

1:17-1:20 : good display of roaming missiles

1:20-1:22 : nice follow-up of a Gemini firing missiles (plus receiving some backup)

1:47-1:49 : a beautiful picturing of a Gemini taking a run on that airship, including cannon fire from the right, giving it a semblence of protective fire against a hostile fighter

1:56-1:59 : music nicely synchronised with the falling cybran airship in the background

2:11-2:14 : the chaos of air battles
