  • yo m8 what rims are you running on and what chassis are u using!!!?

  • I see you made a comment about the mud thrashers below. Are they good for the type of terrain in these video? Grip looks awesome on these @4:24

  • @fillopygeesi -Yes, the mud thrashers are very good on these dry rocks. They are very soft (sidewalls) compared to these Trail Busters though. Not such an issue if you run beadlocks (so they're airtight) but you'll have to finesse the foams if no beadlocks on the Thrashers. They are VERY soft sidewalls. The Busters are probably a little too stiff, better on a heavier rig. They didn't conform to the rocks as well as the Thrashers do. Both very good tires. RC4WD is making many amazing tires now.

  • @pantablo Im Trying to figure out what kind of tires Id like to get. My truck will be on the heavy side because hard plastic Defender 90 body on scx10 frame, and Im gonna make a roof rack for it. ill have the flat irons that come with scx10 but debating on selling them for some type of rc4wd tires just not sure witch ones.

  • @fillopygeesi -Either of these two will work well for you. The Trail Busters look more aggressive though. The Mud Thrashers look very 'street'.

  • what do you think is the best 1.9 tire out there you have any for sale rigth now

  • @bayareaaxialcrawler -there are a ton of good tires out there right now, too many to say one is best. it really depends on the specific terrain you are running to choose the best for your rig and area. Some are better in the wet, some better on dry rocks, some better in mud. My personal favorite at the moment is RC4WD Mud Thrasher (but the sidewall is too soft generally). good overall scale look and very sticky. SDI Grip Doctor's are better looking, slightly smaller but not as sticky.

  • They're pretty good tires,but there's better.Try SDI Trail doctors

  • @coco9419 -I ran trail doctors way back when the rover was new. very good tires but honestly RC4WD makes stickier tires now, and more realistic looking ones. These, however, aren't stickier than the Trail Docs. I got rid of these. These are probably better on a much heavier rig.

  • @pantablo Great vid BTW,Love the rover!

  • @coco9419 -Thanks!

  • very good video!!

where i can found this body ???

  • thank you HBLightning2! This Range Rover Sport body is an onroad rc toy made by NewBright. discontinued currently but sometimes found locally. Sometimes it comes in black. Other times in orange with a trailer and boat.

  • They seem to do pretty well. They sure look great! Can't wait to see them on the Classic.

  • They grip well. The sidewalls are significantly stiffer than the Mud Thrashers, maybe a little too much. They are better now that I narrowed the center/internal peice of the 3-pc wheels. now the sidewall isn't directly supported behind by the wheel so they flex more. They look narrower now too. Going to look great on the Classic but I'll run them on this for now...8^)

  • also what chassis is that

  • Custom chassis waterjet cut from 1/8" aluminum. TLT axles, Stampede transmission, home made links.

  • seems like the mud slingers work better but ive dont rock crawl except on small stuff so what do i know

  • I ran mudslingers on this rig ages ago and didnt like them. They work good,no doubt though. These work very well. They look similar overall but I prefer the narrowness of these. Can't go wrong with either in my opinion.

  • What a great video, Pantablo! :D

What video camera are you using?

I ordered myself the same tires for my Defender ;)

  • Thanks Blocknotes1975.

The camera I use is a still camera, a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS (digital Elph). 8MP or 10MP, can't remember. Takes great video for being a still camera.

  • thanks!

    Ciao!

    Mandio

  • ohh sorry. im talkin about real tires.

  • gotcha!

  • i think theres a different version of that tires with three circle on the middle

  • These tires are brand new, just released. Do you mean wheels? If so, there are another similar type that has 5 spokes instead of the 8.

If not wheels, not sure what you mean about 3 circles...

  • The tires works very good.

  • I like them quite a bit. And they look very scale. Since this vide was taken I took the center peice of the 3-pc wheels and narrowed them making the tires less bulgy (sidewalls) and more slim and tall. look great.

  • thanks for the vid bro !

  • You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • tires look great! scene at 4:42 looks sweet! :o) all others look great as well. lol

  • thanks bdaddy23! it was hard to get the full depth of that ravine, thats why I shot it from three angles, but still you dont really sense how deep it runs down there...standing next to the ravine, in it, the truck was nearly at my head. and that was the shallow part of the ravine, lol...

  • great camera and edtiing work... hey that looked like my kinda terrain .lol... awsome spot.. nice work

  • thanks crpyrob. rocks not red enough to be like yours, lol...

  • The tires look really hard. what foam are you using for the test.

  • stock foams. truck is pretty light at around 6lbs. no weights in wheels either.

these are reduced to 1.7 from 1.9 though. that might make them seem stiffer. treads flex well under load though and they grip really well.

  • finally rock crawling yey!!! enough of that biking nonsense!!! ( no offense)

  • LOL!

  • Yay back to the videos I love!

  • 5* nothing else to saY ;D

  • Thank you!

  • those look REALLY good, thanks for all the vids pablo, you keep my good friend boredom away lol.

  • Thanks. Glad I could help, lol.

  • Awesome job Pablo! But what are you going to put on the Range Rover? The reduced flat irons?

  • Thanks! These are going to be for the range rover classic (I assume thats what you're referring to). Now sure what I'll end up with on this for permanent tires but I dont like how the brat wheels stick out. May go back to 0-offset touring car wheels or might swap the TLT axles with a set of narrowed TLT's I have.
