Personally, I think they should have left the movie alone. I live in America, and they show more violence on the evening news than any other show. So, in America it's okay to show bloody and dead bodies, blown up cars from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but you can show two animated characters kissing? That's a bunch of BS!!!

You can get any european version... since it will contain the unedited english version, plus the local version.

This scenes are from the mexican version... I has the mexican spanish version, plus the full english version.

Only the american version was cut, so it is the english version ditribuited by the Weinstein company.

Because that is the original name of the movie. Only the edited version used the title "The invisibles", and even there, that word is never used in the movie.

Besson commented that the Weinsteins thought, americans could not say "Minimoys"

I saw this movie at its theatrical release in Paris, in one of the only theaters where it was airing in English: and I swear to you: the very title written on the screen was ARTHUR AND THE MINIMOYS, not the Invisibles.

In the opening of the unmodified version, it was Arthur's grandpa you hear as the narrator: in the modified version, it's an unseen man with an English accent. And in the unmodified version, Arthur's phone conversation with his parents is not overdubbed by the narrator's comments

Wow. So many deleted scenes. I watched the europeon version... Whell I think the only scene, that should be deleted - is the one where he takes her bra`s lase.

What are the USA guys trying to do? They take out Love, violence, etc. What does that leave? Boring scenes.

probably there are a lot of small cuts like that. The cut down film is shorter by 8 minutes.

The quote explains will why Arthur could get the Sword, and Selenia not.

Selenia hates Matlhazard, she wants revenge, Arthur feels sorry for him, he wants justice. In the books this is explained from the begining. Is strange why the phrase was cut.

Really? Well, it's not BAD, it's just not necessary. The guy has lost and in the version I had seen he just goes away. The whole thing with the gun and the complete explanation of his evil plan, and the tribe inside the house with their spears and the policemen paying no attention to them... I don't know. It's ok, just not one of the best scenes.

interesting. On my part i think it was necesary to explain why he was so obsessed to get the property. And also to show that to have a some two meter high warriors in your yard , could have some errrr.. utility.. :)

This is the only scene that had even the smallest real reason to be removed from the movie that I can find, and that's because of the gun.

Still, I don't think kids would go insane and start shooting their parents just because they see a gun in a movie.

I really think it is because the spears, there are four big guys with spears.. and worst, they are the good guys...
